We’ve got ourselves a close one in RIT and SJF. Could really rattle the polls if this upset happens. 10-7 SJF at half!

As I was typing, "Yup, RIT scored with :17 left to tie. Thanks for the heads up," RIT scores (thx Richard) with :04 left for the win (after a TO).

That may change things in the polls.

It was the other way around. RIT wins by one.

Regarding the polls: how do we deal with the NESCAC teams with their schedule? With the postponements we may have a champion with only a handful of games. Centennial also? And can Caravana get Big Red is shape with their schedule? C2C and ODAC seem almost normal.

Through 2019 we had a North/South format. I sorta remember 2020 was supposed to move to a five section format. How was that going to work and is it still on?

Did I hear that only automatic qualifiers are going to the NCAA tournament this year?

Interesting season; North is a crapshoot so need another week or two to fit in several more teams. Originally SJF and Cortland were booked against the Gulls; Jumbos usually swing south for some games. This year from a quick read of their thread I’m uncertain about NESCAC. At least one NESCAC school is in the middle of a really weird imbroglio.

From the west Caravana usually brings Big Red east for some games and Illinois Wesleyan with Coach Iannucci will run and gun with anyone.

What exactly is going on with W&L and WAC? Two great and storied programs.

1. LYN trounced CNU.
2. RIT still King of the North but the crown is slipping
3. York a contender with a puncher’s chance
4. Tie CNU and
5. Gulls: Game of the Week next Saturday
6. Baldwin Wallace 6 - 0
7. Tufts or any NESCAC team. If they play, they move up
8. Cabrini defending NC
9. HSC The Rotans are always in the mix
10. Stevenson how does Unknown Participant label them?
11. Denison Coach Mike always delivers
12. Transylvania 6-1 Don’t play them on a Friday night
13. St. Vincent 5-1 but not on the Admin List same as Grove City
14. Centre 5 - 1
15. Illinois Wesleyan 4-1 Coach Iannucci and his men swing for the fences
16. W&L what’s going on here? Did the Gwars incident shake the team?
17. WAC cancelled War On the Shore; is this the final nail in the coffin for a great and storied program?

I guess you didn't read the NESCAC thread that carefully, so here is a summary:
starting east-west play April 10

Jumbos are NOT swinging south for games

1-3 teams are not playing due to various levels of douche baggery by their admins/presidents

I referred to Stevenson as has beens with a toxic culture. I stand by that

Since there is little to no OOC play, hard to measure how NESCAC teams stack up. The same problem the BIG has. I'll guess we'll have to wait til the NCAA to see how the NESCAC teams stack up, but once they start playing, there should be 3-5 in top 20 IMO.

Still haven't heard of Baldwin Wallace.

Polls are always fun to do and have always participated but I give you guys credit this year I would not know where to start. Nescac teams that aren’t participating or getting a late start, many schools not playing OOC, covid cancellations, players who get quarantined, double headers😂 W&L and Lynchburg playing back to back games, who has the most 5th year seniors. I’m just sitting back watching it play out. What a wild season!

Could you please add Grove City (4-1) to the List. They avenged their only loss to St. Vincent (21-9) and I may give them a nod.

Big shake ups and some reconsiderations. Berkman is whipping his men into shape although some work remains. Rocket Man hits his grove and a freshman Vacuum Cleaner sparkles in an already sparkling Defense. Goalie and fogos doing their jobs. That said RIT and York have better records so….

1. RIT Probably stay here until they meet NESCAC in the playoffs
2. York 6 – 0 Good coach, good school, undefeated
3. Gulls 7 – 1 Signature win v CNU but how does CNU score 12 on this defense?
4. LYN 7 – 2 Best game v the Gulls then lose to CNU and W&L
5. HSC 6 – 1 Runs the table until May 1 v LYN
6. Tufts Probably best of NESCAC, if they finish the season
7. SJF lost to RIT 15 – 16 and seem to be improving
8. Cabrini Defending NC
9. CNU 6 – 3 Scored 12 against the Gulls then lost to Colorado College
10. Stevenson 2 – 0 and 4 PPDs
11. Baldwin Wallace 7 – 0 Good school, good coach, good Admin and alumni leadership
12. Centre 7 - 1
13. Tie Denison Will their schedule provide enough competition for improvement?
14. OWU Ditto
15. Illinois Wesleyan 6 – 1
16. John Carroll 6 – 1 Beat Heidelberg 2X by total score 61 – 1
17. SUNYMC 2 – 0 Best of the Skyline
18. Grove City 4 - 1 Avenged their earlier loss to St Vincent 22 - 9
19. Colorado College 8 - 2 Should be Top 10 with CNU win

7 penalties - couple phantom calls in there (i.e., spearing on O'Callaghan, unnecessary roughness Greik)

Gettysburg beat Dickinson 9-7. I know it wasn't pretty but not bad for the first game of the season to shake off some rust against a team that had 2 games under their belts. I have to believe the Bullets should be in the 9-12 range.

What was the one minute bench penalty about?

Gettysburg / Dickinson Game? I was not able to watch it, tried to follow on twitter, so I have no idea there even was a bench penalty. If it was on the Bullets I'm sure Coach J will clean that up he doesn't tolerate that type of antic very much.

You wanna start today (by noon)? Doesn't need to be a Top 25. Can be 20, 15, 10...
