Sure did
8-0. W. T. F.?
You can see the backup goalie warming up on the next field
Do you see the back up defense? The back up clear unit?

And yellow cards too!

The issue with the wildly overlapping start times is NCAA women's lax rules. These windows have been a peeve of mine for years.

https://ncaaorg.s3.amazonaws.com/champi ... Manual.pdf

See top of page 10. Sunday games must start between 12 and 3. Friday's had a slightly wider window, bur only because of some doubleheaders.

Sometimes the struggle to grow the game is self-inflicted.

good post
This is what the IWLCA posted via twitter...I do not know how to imbed it so I will type it instead.

..."Multiple games have been moved to that time slot due to weather concerns. Additionally, travel concerns for teams competing with the turnaround to Thursday's quarterfinals (all on tv for the first time ever) made for mid day game necessity from the @NCAALAX committee...."

SO the coaches who are still playing want more turnaround time to get their teams home and rested prior to Thursdays games...so it seems. Reasonable take from a coaches POV.

Looks like all the seeds will advance – as it should be. One through eight in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

UNC, MD, and Loyola, by far playing the best lax in the tournament, complete domination today.

Great the start times are all spaced out this year. One game per 2-1/2 hour time slot.

Stony Brook at North Carolina
Florida at Maryland
Loyola at BC
Syracuse at Northwestern (If NU can hang on. Michigan doesn't look like they want to go as gently into that good night as their ACC sisters.)

Michigan within two. If the Wolverines come back to win--Thursday's quarter will be in the Dome? Or will the stadium be booked for another event?

Maryland vs Florida - noon

UNC vs Stony Brook - 7:30pm

haven't seen the other two announced yet but you can bet they're somewhere in between

What's interesting is the fact that I have to take another day off -- at least an afternoon off -- of work on Thursday.

My spreads this week as teams battle to reach the Final Four.

MD by 7. Reznick keeps it close until the YC's start flying.

BC by 6. Just think BC is the better and deeper team and Hall sees the ball well in May.

Syracuse by 2. Respect the resiliency of Cuse and believe they find a way even without a goalie.

UNC by 6. UNC has struggled historically vs tough zones. SB keeps it close for a half but ultimately talent prevails.

Thursday's Best Games in order... Though I'm not sure the order matters because all four are (potentially) good.

1 Loyola #3 vs #2 Boston College 05/19/2022
2 North Carolina #1 vs #8 Stony Brook 05/19/2022
3 Northwestern #4 vs #7 Syracuse 05/19/2022
4 Maryland #5 vs #9 Florida 05/19/2022
