Apparently it is indeed "tough for non-critical thinkers"...it's stupid on its face, pretending that the argument for people to get vaccinated is to protect vaccinated people from getting sick and dying.

That's not the argument at all, and only a non-critical thinker would be confused. But hey...

so, what are the actual arguments?

The non-self-interested argument is not about the unvaccinated infected person making the vaccinated person get sick and die, it's that they put at risk those who are unvaccinated, some of whom do not have the option of getting vaccinated.

The more self-interested argument is that anyone who gets sick, is hospitalized, etc causes tremendous costs on all of us, regardless of whether we are vaccinated or not. We all bear those healthcare costs. It's not "free".

AND...pressure on health systems creates the potential for not being able to get the preventive or emergency care we or our loved ones may need, unleaded to COVID.

Which aspect specifically? I can’t remember….I just recall him suggesting the Pandemic was over in July of 2020. I sent that AMS article to my wife. She was surprised. She said as a member, she gets the articles routinely. She’s impressed with the Delta Variant from a scientific standpoint.
