Simply put, publish two numbers widely: deaths if unvaccinated, and deaths with vaccination.

3 deaths from vaccines (all three J&J) of 309,000,000 vaccine doses administered in the U.S. through June 7, 2021. 313,549 people died from Covid during that same period. 5,208 vaccinated people have died from all causes during that same period.

I thought that, too, but that's how the writer wrote the article. Let's assume the writer didn't mean it and 5,208 people with a vaccine dose died from Covid. 5,208 vs. 308,341 (vs. 3). My point remains - still not a topic for a reasonable discussion.

not exactly. the writer listed the number of deaths that were reported thru the vaers system.

some back of the napkin:
330 m people, typical year 2.8 - 2.9 m deaths.
0.8 percent.

3 months ago, ~110 million (33%) had been vaccinated.
forgetting even the lead up to then where people were getting vaxxed in growing numbers (longer) and that vaxxed people skewed much older... just since april 20 to june 7 (approx 47 days), you would expect 47/365 × 2,800,000 x .333 = 120,000 deaths. without any covid deaths, and also just from that 100 million, not those vaxxed after.

the vaers system is not only comically underutilized, it's mostly useless. maybe bigger numbers if it were really promoted would be too scary for everyone, feared taken out of context.

even i'm surprised at where we are with many items. and from the jump it's been my opinion that we were headed where we were headed (directionally, of course) regardless.

Yeah. Counting the flu as covid and counting motorcycle deaths as deaths by Covid. Fear Porn. That was 550,000 dead Americans ago.

Trump, Jan 26, 2020 : "This is a flu. This is like a flu," the president said in a briefing. "It's a little like a regular flu that we have flu shots for. And we'll essentially have a flu shot for this in a fairly quick manner."

and of course, much more. Even after he knew it was much more deadly.

No mention of systematic testing/sampling to map undiagnosed community spread.

In my amateur analysis, 3 US hot spot clusters @ now :
1. Seattle, WA area
2. New Rochelle, NY
3. Santa Clara Co, CA
We got the D team on it:

Ask your wife if she believes there is possibility that the testing at smaller rural locals (not CDC) could be false positives for covid19, considering we are also not getting active updates of conventional seasonal flu as normal.

Maybe, just maybe, they are blended.
What’s blended?
Combination of cv19 and seasonal flu diagnosis.
no, two different tests.
and here was a bit of conflation...
