Still nothing new... move along.
Yup, nothing new.

Except for an eye witness to the actual research confirming that the chance it came from the lab is "exceedingly slim".

"exceedingly slim"... sure, that's similar to the WHO position before the WHO director critiqued their own bogus report and stated lab-leak as plausible.

Wonder what this woman's political views are?

Interesting this story gains more traction as Dong Jingwei spills the beans.

This gal says "theoretically possible" too...which of course it is.

But this is indeed 'new' to have this non-Chinese scientist on the record based on her observations while actually present at the lab contemporaneously.

Why should her "political views" be relevant?

“The pandemic is something no one could have imagined on this scale,”

Actually, lot of people can and did. Certainly, any who read history did.

Part of the problem is that too many people who should have imagined it, did not.

... a lot of scientist could have and did imagine it. The politicians didn't listen or at least did not act on the warnings.

What a crock. Scientists are never political or biased, only politicians are

How about scientists warning against GOF research? What about those who want to expand GOF?

When Fauci first came on board to manage the pandemic, you were quite critical of him and some of your critique based on politics as I recall?

Israel has reinstituted their indoor masking requirements due to occurrence of the delta variant and the number of breakthrough cases they have seen.

I see WHO is again suggesting masks for indoor public spaces.

Might anyone have a place to get some N95 masks these days? I suspect that we will be needing them again sooner than later.

I am waiting for the Fall. The Summer is a little bit of fool’s gold. We will see where we are in the fall.

What percentage of break through cases are severe? The vaccine is not 100% effective, this is not unexpected.

... correct, not generally severe. The reasoning is Israel's.

I agree and understand, but in my case I am starting to ride metro into work again and was thinking that I will double mask on that commute. I had been driving but the volume of cars has noticeably increased since March 2021, along with the time required to get to and from the office.

I was just wondering if anyone had seen a source for cheaper N95's these days
