Sean Donnelly is in the portal for this year. He’s from Florida so I’d expect he will connect with a Florida school, DI or DII.
This actually could work out well since this will open things up for other players who have been sitting or just not getting much playing time. Drexel has had some large recent classes and its time the coaches determine who from those classes can contribute.

Interesting pick up for the Hens,

Delaware

Hank D'Ambrogi, M, Fairfield
I’d be tempted to say something about this transfer,
but the truth is, this recruit probably talked to the Hens at some point before he committed.

Looks like he saw the field more towards the end of the year, during CAA play and produced - good indicator for Delaware.

Milani goes to Tampa,
not sure this looks good for Donnelly as Tampa seemed an obvious landing spot for him.

I’ll mention again,
Cole Herbert is listed as a student at Towson,

but Herbert is not listed on the Towson summer football roster.

Paul Reidy completes transfer to Jacksonville.

I had thought he was the goalie most likely to take over for Kilkeary given some prior good games in cage.
This will be a work in progress for Hens, starting goalie, don’t know if they are active in the portal for a goalie.

It looks like Gates could be back,
although no way to know,
the inbound Muhlenberg goalie, looks like a good find, Muhlenberg played some solid lacrosse this year.

So far,
Dickson and Rees have been the impact players, imo,
Canada had to hold the ball for the last two minutes to get away with a 1 goal win against the Iroquois.

All-World Team

M-Josh Byrne, Canada
Byrne - Hofstra makes all world.

Too bad Grant was out this world games.
Grant would have played shut down defense.

TJ Gravante transfers to Hens.

Hens can really use Gravante - he could fit right in with Tye Kurtz’ graduation.

Maybe DeLuca can convince his dad to come in short term and provide some volunteer assistant duties - again, something the Hens could use.

Gravante is a nice pickup but won’t be a true replacement for Kurtz
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

This is a good story on how DeLuca got the really, almost unknown Kurtz,
it was a two-fer, Tye plus his brother deal,

The CAA recently changed the conference name from Colonial to Coastal. The 2024 CAA thread name should be altered to reflect this change.

The renaming from Colonial to Coastal (from what I understand) was because the 13 Colonies contained slave states. There are now two Historically Black Colleges (Hampton and NC A&T) as CAA members. Remember, GWU recently changed their Colonials nickname to the Revolutionaries. Look, if some member institutions do not like the name association, be respectful, and simply change it. We, as American Citizens, share our combined history. Some of this history is not very pleasant. Also, the Coastal Athletic Association still makes more sense to me than the Big10, Pac 12, Big East, A10, SEC, etc. that no long make any sense except for tradition.
