I'm going to guess that even though she wasn't a defender, they miss Grace Griffin more than expected. There was a reason before COVID stopped the 2020 season that she was playing more on defense. But a win is still a win. Hensh stepped up when needed.

I wasn't watching but know Hensh got hit when she scored the game-winner. Probably something to do with that.

Clemson 8 ND 7 at the end of the 3rd

8-7 Clemson after three. Lamparter with 13 saves.

ND scores last five goals of game, three when player up (one when 2 up), to win 12-9. Tigers played very well for 3 1/2 quarters, but then Knute took over.

Very good performance in net by Lamparter (16 saves 12 GA). Contrast that with Sterling today (8 saves, 13 GA). Probably too early yet, but I wonder if the geniuses in College Park will be second guessing their decision to trade Lamparter before this season is over.
