There’s a strong 4 quarter effort out of the Bears! Bryant is obviously down this year, but despite their record they hadn’t been blown out until last night. Keep it going into the weekend. Especially nice game from Enchill.

Agree with the comment on Enchill. He seemed to hoover-up every ground ball he was near. Bryand has a slew on injuries, leaving them with a very young team at this point in the season. Not that the Bears are old in the tooth.

The margin of victory if Princeton beats Cornell and Brown beats the Green is an interesting tiebreaker. As reported elsewhere, if losing towards the end of the game, Cornell is incented to shoot on its own goal to increase Princeton's margin of victory, so that Princeton wins the three way tie-breaker. This leaves Cornell with the head to head win over Brown for the 4th slot in the ILT. The Bears are +1, Cornell is +3, and Princeton is -4. If the margin of Princeton's win is 6, then the Bears are out. I have no idea what happens if Princeton wins by 5. Perhaps Brown is the 3rd seed with head to head over Princeton and Cornell is out.

Nothing the Bears can control. Beat Dartmouth and root for the Big Red.

That is correct. If Princeton wins by 3, 4 or 5 its Brown #3 and Princeton #4. If Princeton loses or wins by 2 or less its Cornell #3 and Brown #4.

3-3. That's right, give 'em hope. C'mon!

5-3. What WONDERFUL preparation for playing Penn next week. Thanks Big Red for doing for Bruno what the Bears apparently don't feel like doing themselves: getting a berth in the ILT.

18 first half turnovers playing for the post season! Probably the worst half of Brown lacrosse I’ve ever seen.

Workmanlike 2nd half, still, several goals the result of what Bob Cousy (yes I'm old) used to call accidental offense. Nice job by Newsome after losing playing time in the latter part of the season. Kniffen hurt? Didn't see him running as a mid as he would do when Newsome was in at A.

On to (yech) Columbia. Have they renamed Kraft Field yet?

In the 2nd half the Big Green were conceding every face off and trying to scrum, final count was 20/22 for the Bears. If D had a legit F/O it would be a long bus ride home for Brown. The Bears desperately need a dangerous 3rd midfielder as Grell and Aughavin are both getting poled.
Newsome did look good happy to see him shoot it so well.

Congrats to Brown on getting into the Ivy League tournament in a year when five teams really had the chops to make it -- dogfight for those #3 and #4 spots.

NO problem, and good luck against PENN next week. How about a Cornell/Brown Final?

Good sign going into the rematch with Penn is Newsome coming out of his season-long slump.....Simaan at the FO showed well at Bryant on Tuesday nite and continued the run yesterday....Goss and the Penn goalie are the two best in the League....stopped counting yesterday after 18 TO's (not in the game..in the 1st half !).....Grell, Aughavin, Kniffin, McCaleb, Cook, Newsome possess enough talent to compete with Penn... Dart's defense was very respectable.....Coach Svec has the defense pretty much shaped-up.....Enchill has improved much during the season....Brown could use now the instant offense and defense the two Garden City commits and the NJ ones will provide next season....good intensity on the Brown sideline all season long......congrats on the 4th straight year of making the playoffs....not easy with having to overcome Princeton or Penn to get there year after year....
NCAA Quarters at Brown Stadium next season - hope it's an omen......new Lacrosse Stadium at Brown next April will invigorate....lax .program on the upswing at Brown as is the entire athletics' program....all those one and two goal losses should flip next year...and hopefully next weekend.....Brown AD heads the Lax Selection Committee....

Actually 5 straight Ivy Tourneys for the Bears: 15, 16, 17, 18, 19. Second to Yale who I think has maybe 8 straight. This year’s senior class will graduate having seen 4 ILT’s and one Final Four. Great run and congrats to them (though hopefully there a more than a couple games left to play!)

Just to do a little chirping, Yale has now been in all 10 ILTs, FYO Sting. Yale-Brown rivalry is one of my favorites.

Great run for Yale it’s been remarkable. 2021 maybe the first time they’re vulnerable for multiple league losses in a long time, but they’re not going anywhere with the seniors they’ll have next year. Good news is Brown returns as much or more than any other Ivy so they should be right back in the mix next year.

Bears need a better job on face offs and defensively vs Penn. A week to prepare, with good film to review. Go Bears.

I would take another 10 of 26 performance by Bruno’s FO unit against The Quakers. In any other year, Gallagher of Penn would be a big story in Ivy lacrosse. Because of a guy named TD, he has not received much ink, despite putting up the best performance against TD (14 of 29) of the year. Basically equal to what Baptiste did last year. Physically, McShea is a beast and had a 12 of 24 for the Bears in the first game against Gallagher. Feels like the boys on College Hill are peaking at the right time. If they get all their errant passes out of their system during warmups, they could pull this off.

Goss, Geppert, Grell and Aughavin all 2nd team All-Ivy. Nice to see Geppert get some recognition for a great year 1.

It’s a little unbelievable that McCaleb is on track to finish his career in the top 5 all-time in Brown scoring history and he hasn’t been named All-Ivy. Certainly not flashy and not on the Teat/Sowers level, but his production warrants more recognition than he gets.

I was surprised as well not to see McCaleb

I noticed Jack Wood (Governor's, MA '19) decommitted from Brown, going to Syracuse. Too bad, would've been a nice addition at attack.
