Finishing up the Md-Il game from last night. Good for you guys but Bielema really sucks as a coach. Should’ve just gone for it one 4th and 1 on your 40. Even though Il isn’t very good that’s the kind of game that can help a season roll.

The OC called an objectively bad game. Illinois used Maryland's aggressiveness against them and dropped 7 and 8 into coverage. Enos wouldn't take what the defense was giving the Terps. Got lucky...and was just an awful game all around. But it's a game that Terps would have lost in years past. Better to learn coming off of a win instead of a loss!

That was what I tried to convey type of game that can build confidence and momentum. Big ten looks down this year so there’s a small path...

Per IL

Some @TerpsMLax news: Logan Wisnauskas will be the next Maryland star to wear No. 1.

The three-time @Inside_Lacrosse All-American has totaled 237 career points, 53 away from Jared Bernhardt's record. The former Syracuse transfer will be the new focal point in College Park.

I can’t make it so any feedback would be appreciated. Remember no one will be in their correct jersey number

Heard the Big Red were up 13-10 at the end of the 3rd when both teams started pulling starters. Not bad for a team that hasn’t played in two years and lost Teat/Donville.

Heard were up in the first half and that several of SSDM were out. Sounds like Higgins and Smith are still rehabbing. Logan leading the offense with 3 or 4 other guys being put into play with him.

Was at the scrimmage and it was an even fall game with both teams showing lots of energy, some unforced errors and some good individual/team play. Maryland started well and held a 2 goal lead at the start but for the most part it was a 1 goal game until Cornell tied to even the score going into the half. 3rd quarter was essentially Cornell and had decent lead going into the 4th where both teams substituted. Last quarter Maryland had the better opportunities and "won" by a goal. I can't speak to who was injured or substituted but both teams did a nice job in wet and foggy conditions.

Why do you say this? He wouldn't be the first to play both...

Been awhile since someone has. Especially considering he's a true frosh in an immensely crowded depth chart would be difficult to get involved or be on the field with no fall ball. He's super talented so certainly wouldn't be surprised if he played lax later in his career and is involved with the program but for the time being I don't think he's a factor. Hope I'm wrong though; if he's truly that special obviously he'll see the field

If he wasn't getting regular snaps on defense for the football team as a true freshman, I'd think he'd suit up this spring for lacrosse. But he's been getting regular snaps and would probably improve his chances of pushing for a starting role - if Nick Cross declares for the NFL - next fall if he plays spring football.

Xanders has posted that the Terps picked up a '22 commitment, formerly a Denver commit, Aidan Aitken. He is at Salisbury.
