Just an absolute joke that we have to watch all 3 games of the tournament on Lacrosse TV. The quality of the stream is terrible. The America East's championship is going to be on ESPNU and we'll have to miss the first 5 minutes of the CAA championship, as LTV replays the 2022 CAA Championship.

And that's why the CAA will remain as a mid to lower tier conference. Zero exposure to lure the top recruits. Flo and LacrosseTV are the absolute worst. The CAA really need to look at better TV coverage options.

The America East finals on ESPN as I recall goes back to the Thompsons, to get the Thompson’s exposure, Albany, then with Connor Fields - they had some serious players worth watching - Stony Brook with Crowley and then later Nanticoke at UAlbany.

Atlantic 10 tournament is on ESPN+, which ESPN+ just ends up using local resources — so long as Flo / Lacrosse TV uses the UDel broadcast with the LSN announcers, they’ll be all right, UDel broadcasting is top notch, better than most schools.

Here is a solid writeup on why the CAA went with Flo for everything, football, lacrosse, basketball.
They’re stuck. The football piece just isn’t there to where they could have struck a deal with Fox Sports - that’s who I thought they’d go with. Other schools did the deal with ESPN+ but also got a deal for some broadcasting on the regular ESPN channels. The Patriot League got CBS Sports Net, the Big East got CBS Sports Net, the ACC teams have ACCN, B1Gs have Big Ten Net.
So the CAAers in all sports, not just lacrosse, went with Flo - they show lacrosse games on the local NBC Sports Net - but again, those aren’t national channels, you’d need to be able to access NBC Sports Net Philadelphia.

CAA dropped all conference awards. Headlined by OPOY DPOY AND COY to Delaware with Kurtz, Grant, and Deluca. Interested what everyone else thinks about the list?

Flosports could be the worse move the CAA has made in the last ten years. There is no exposure to High School athletes, the quality of the video looks like a VHS tape circa 1992. To make matters worse, lacrosse tv most often has broadcasting issues. They are broadcasting the wrong game, showing a video of an older game instead of the scheduled live game. Just count how many times you will lose the broadcast on Thursday. Commissioner Joe completely blew it with the TV contract.

The broadcasting comes from whichever school the game is being played, so the broadcasting for the CAAs will be the University of Delaware’s - with LSN broadcasters.
I was watching a St Joe’s ESPN+ broadcast.
They used St Joe’s broadcast with St Joe’s broadcast team.

Take a look at the above link, and it lays out how the Flo contract came about,
the question I always have,
what is the alternative, ESPNU -
ESPNU isn’t going to broadcast the CAA.

ESPN+ — they do what Flo does — except, the Ivies did a deal with ESPN+ to get some of their games on the regular ESPN channels because they’re the Ivy League.

I thought the CAA would get a deal with Fox Sports, but FS1 and FS2 would only put the CAA on their App, not on their cable stations FS1 and FS2.

Have to get over the ESPN thing. Im more concerned about the lack of competition thing in the conference, and the additions. Lacrosse TV is a joke. The little worm who went to Syracuse is off the broadcasts.

Well,
and look at the all CAA teams,

there are plenty of players that are as good as any conference’s -which the CAA should promote,

Owen Grant, JP Ward, Tye Kurtz, Kyle Berkeley, Nick DeMaio, Mike Weisshaar, Dylan Pallonetti, Gerard Kane, Luke Tomak, Villagomez is another - players that are worth watching.

That Stony Brook - Hofstra game is a game you’d have want on ESPN, on some national level channel, FS1 maybe,
a standard issue CAA wild affair that you’d want the young lax bro’s watching to promote the CAA.

I’m guessing this is it for Kyle Berkeley,
I believe this was his 6th overall year including injury year or years,

He was able to prove over two years that he’s a top midfielder and produced - and he went out swinging,
