Woman dragged and beaten at a Staten Island deli. Owner of deli refused to identify the young assailant to police. She probably deserved it.

Its fine I don’t care but understand this is simply a craven attempt to make money and coming from a Euro source where views overlap sometimes but other times not so much.
The company had made efforts to promote inclusivity, appointing pro-LGBTQ women’s soccer player, Megan Rapinoe, and a transgender woman as brand ambassadors. However, these initiatives did not lead to an increase in sales.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/news/vi ... cc28&ei=16What Happened: A report by Fox Business on Monday revealed that Victoria’s Secret’s transition from a “hyper-sexualized” image to a more inclusive one has not resulted in any financial gains. The company’s projected revenue for 2023 is slated at $6.2 billion, a 5% decrease from last year and well below the $7.5 billion revenue of 2020.

What do you make of Victoria Secret’s’ performance?
Did the company’s problems begin before or after 2021?
There's a commonality there, none of them look like Lizzy or Mulvaney. Here are some of the most popular Victoria's Secret models12345:
Tyra Banks
Adriana Lima
Gisele Bündchen
Heidi Klum
Alessandra Ambrosio

My only reason for posting the article was to suggest that the vast majority
still likes/prefers what the vast majority has pretty much always liked/preferred.
One might find that a little difficult to believe with the flood of LGBTQ+, trans
news and promotion, but that's still a fact, jack. Victoria's Secret, IMHO, needs
to not forget who butters their bread like Bud did. Be as inclusive as want, be
smart about your market/prospective buyers too.

They've been flailing trying to find a positioning that was both inclusive and sexy...but a whole lot of other brands have done the exclusive branding and product development better.
I don't think it's merely a matter of how you advertise, it's whether what you're selling continues to be appreciated as 'best in class', a positioning VS had enjoyed for a whole lot of years prior to the backlash.
And, of course, malls have taken a bath through the pandemic...

It's weird that reading the VS actual strategic plan doesn't include anything the article claims. Not surprised it popped up in your feed though.
Either way, Hick-hop predicted this nearly 20 years ago.
Victoria's Secret, well their stuff's real nice
Oh, but I can buy the same damn thing on a Wal-Mart shelf half price
And still look sexy
Just as sexy as those models on TV
No, I don't need no designer tag

W*T*F, TLD, you're smarter than to use the word everything there, no? Kind of falls right in there with never and always, doesn't it? Must be your joy in throwing jabs clouded the reasonable thinking part of your brain on that one.You take everything you read as truth now?
As for what the vast majority prefers….. water is wet…. But I may offer that the vast majority of people don’t care what Victoria Secrets does. When was the last time you shopped at one?
So Rapinoe and whoever else didn’t reverse the trend? Seems like Victoria Secret’s started sliding well before Rapinoe and Mulvaney was the point of my post. You are infatuated with this LESBO stuff. Like many things, I first learned of Mulvaney on this site as it’s pretty much where I consume anything close to “social media”. BTW, pretty sure I have made more purchases at VS than you have over the past 6 years……Even have a photo of my daughter with Angel Wings on….Pretty sure she doesn’t care about Rapinoe and probably doesn’t know who Dylan Mulvaney is…… these companies all want to sell more product to more people. You think that’s a bad strategy? Marketing departments make mistakes all the time. It’s part of the business.DMac wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 11:08 amW*T*F, TLD, you're smarter than to use the word everything there, no? Kind of falls right in there with never and always, doesn't it? Yup, I'd agree that the vast majority don't care much what Victoria Secrets (sic) does, looks like Victoria's Secrets does care that Rapinoe and the transgender were a bust though.
The vast majority still like what the vast majority has always liked. You choose to have Mulvaney in a see through negligee and Rapinoe in rainbow flag laced panties and you're not going to appeal to the vast majority IMHO. Sell, sell, sell, ya know, and the Victoria's Secret sales department does care, like every other sales department, about sales and who their product appeals to. Choose your strategy and ad campaigns wisely.
Told you many times the stuff pops up on the feed when I open my computer, also posted the thread needed a little livening up and here you are. Infatuated with lesbians is laughable.....oh, and is Mulvaney a LESBO?You are infatuated with this LESBO stuff.
