Republicans are all bent out of shape because Biden is selling off sections of trumps border wall. I wonder if Biden thinks they will make a nice prison cell for his scumbag, degenerate lowlife son? :D

What is the difference between having "full authority" to pursue charges, and Special Counsel status?
NM... just found this:

The day after Clark sent his letter, Weiss asked Garland to make him a special counsel. Garland has long said Weiss has total authority over the probe, including the power to bring charges in any jurisdiction in the country — not just Delaware. But being special counsel would mean Weiss got that authority in writing, in a public document.
Now Weiss has double super secret special powers.

It begs the question what is wrong with the American people? Have we all as a nation lowered our standards this much?

Yes. Our media is siloed now, so we're not hearing the same thing.

And the media....same as it ever was....gets paid by the click/viewer. So if we want to be outraged about how bad the Dems or R's are? That's what we'll click.

The media is owned by the 1% is MORE than happy to keep us clicking, and keep us filled with fake outrage.

Policy discussions no longer happen. Here in Denver? You can't discuss the homeless problem without idiots coming on to blame the Dems for "the reason" it exists. Ignoring, of course, that nationally-renowned-conservative city Colorado Springs has the same problem. And ignores that if you're homeless in rural america, you'll die, so there's no such thing as a homeless population there.

No one wants to fix problems anymore nationally. And locally, our reasonable D's and R's that want to govern and serve the people are hanging on by a thread.

I just read this online a couple of minutes ago. David Weiss and Beau Biden both worked together on cases back in the day. If this is true doesn't David Weiss have no other option than recuse himself due to a disturbing conflict of interest. Maybe I'm wrong, I can't find the link to post. Does the connection to the Biden family make Weiss damaged goods in a non partisan prosecutor. Would that possibly be considered an appearance of impropriety??

Hey Buck Rogers -- check your facts. Space X just started in 2020. For 9 years, we had no US capability to send crews to the space station. During that near-decade, we had to hitch rides on some of the 33 Soyuz missions during that period to get people into space. Space X has a very limited lift capacity compared to the Space Shuttle, which had a troubled history & several delayed missions. We have fallen behind & are playing catch up in manned space flight.

Nobody's defending the Russians. Just facing facts & ignoring the rah rah. We've avoided the real threat of war with Russia for 80 years now. I'm not anxious to blunder into one now to resolve a civil war & border dispute between former Russian provinces. We are neck deep in a proxy war that is draining our war reserves & exceeding our defense industrial capacity, with no long term articulated strategy & no end in sight.

Give Uncle Joe a hand for the debacle of ignoring sound military advice & bailing out of Afghanistan for his 9-11 anniversary celebration, then signing us up for a war in Ukraine with no end in sight. I prefer where we were under Trump.

I wonder if Hunter was giving him unsolicited personal advice? Abandoning Bagram Airbase and trusting security to the Taliban were strokes of genius. That does sound like stupid advise Hunter would have dreamed up.

No. You preferred Obama, as it turns out, when it came to these two countries. Obama stayed in Afghanistan, per your orders. Obama also didn't lift one military finger for Crimea or Ukraine, per your orders.

Yet you claimed his military policies were awful, and couldn't manage to praise him for the exact ideas you hold yourself when it comes to Afghanistan and Putin. You mocked him, instead. And touted how awesome Putin was, and that Putin was "outplaying him". Remember chess and checkers? I do.

I criticized Obama's rush to bail out of Iraq, allowing ISIS to rise, then calling them the JV, withholding aid to Iraq to resist ISIS then waiting until they's conquered their caliphate before his halting response, which Trump accelerated & finished up in short order.
I was not a fan of his leading from behind after greenlighting the EUros adventure in Libya (& abandoning our people in Benghazi) & getting Russia to bail him out when he flubbed his line in the sand in Syria.

I never criticized Obama on Ukraine. When the Dems criticized Trump for watering down the 2016 campaign plank on Ukraine, I pointed out that it did much more than Obama's refusal to provide any lethal military aid.
