A clue or more misinformation? Darby got the writeup in that season preview with the other "starters".

Not much here that we haven't already figured out.

Lyne is mentioned as a potential contributor at LSM—perhaps he's finally healthy now. Would love to see it after all the injuries he's dealt with in his career.

Mabbett in line for "extended playing time" behind the midfield core of Smith-Concannon-DeSimone-Zinn-Baskin.

Jays look like a pretty big team in 2020.

Mabbett played a good amount in the scrimmage I went to vs. Marquette. Looked to be in great shape (faster/quicker and appears to have shed the baby fat) and did pretty well out there if not a standout. Confidence will probably be key with him, and I'm sure we would all love to see him become a contributor with the physical presence he brings.

They need to go out like crazed animals and treat Towson like they are red meat and devour them.

We will see. I was impressed by the physicality we displayed in that same Marquette scrimmage I watched, certainly relative to past years. Not sure if it carried over to any of the other scrimmages I didn't watch but it was a positive sign nonetheless.

It was just a scrimmage and both teams were banged up but the Jays were also physical (and faster than they've been) against Villanova. You certainly could not accuse that team of not playing hard. Will have to play that way against Towson to get the win, especially down the middle of the field.

And here we are again, gentlemen.

Remember it’s just a game. There are bigger things than lacrosse.

That said—go Jays.

I’m generally pessimistic about the current state of the program and yet I’m hopeful that with Epstein Williams and Zinn powering the engine the Jays will be competitive in most games. Go Jays

Clear, crisp, and cool for the Jays’ season opener. Right now it’s 37 and sunny here just s short walk from the U. It should be above 40 a few miles south of here at Homewood by 1:00, not bad for early February.

I've never seen him play, but we have an open attack spot. Good luck to the kid, but there's some questionable judgement there.

He initially committed to Hopkins during early recruiting. Changed to VA where he lives. Any number of reasons for it

Not at the game but am told Epstein is dressed and warming up, but with a brace on his knee.
