Cloning, only in as much as it helps those "in need"...far too many ethics concerns for me to really be able to broad brush support it.
Nature of a person?..Not certain what exactly you mean by that. My immediate reply would be that I believe God created us all and we are each perfect in His image. When He calls us Home, things only get better. Tying it into the cloning question, I can see benefits in helping quality of life as I stated earlier...but as selfish as we are, it will eventually just get abused and used for the wrong purposes.

You have to read about Bridenstine's comments, particularly about moving the timeline up ......in articles, Congressional testimony, etc. Could have been when 2028 was the target date (Heylow, Con$tellation program anyone ? Perhaps, the data delay was about the sustainable program, but not sure how moon landing data has to doe with the lack of temperature data from the Ohio river valley on Dec. 11th, 666 AD.

Pretty historic airfield. Going back to Amelia Earhart days. What I noticed, walking the pups who LOVE hunting coyotes....was the seawall, shown in the above picture. Took plenty of pics and videos myself, but it appears that this seawall dates back to being installed, most likely, before ALL of our lives. (just checked, the place closed in 1953, labeled abandoned airport in 1960. So, these seawalls have been in place since when? )

My point, I was there at HIGH tide, at 10.1 feet. The highest the water level got was 4 feet to the bottom of the concrete top. So add another foot. Sea levels rizing? What was the measurement in 1940, similar date with similar tide ? (or whenever the wall was built ) Also, keep in mind, that I consider frost heaves as a potential to keep this wall at a certain height above the muck it was pile driven into. Lots of clay. Could have build an R-50 wall with that clay.

I sold all my apple stock. Own none, except for those mutuals . What does you inane comment have to do with the lack of apparent sea level rise based on a seawall built, most likely, prior to 1953. Almost 70 years ago.

Oh, I agree. But, why don't you? When it comes to funding "other" junk all in the name of what you describe. $cience. But, in reality, it's been a military exercise since the US Govt. stiffed Capt. Shays, with ZERO challenge, or threats, to US soil, in reality, evah.

Without the big bad bogey man, be it russia, china, luxemberg, the vatican......how many companies, non-profits and universities make fortunes. Same for wallstreet and the Congress that approves the funding.
