If Epstein had a torn ACL he would have had had surgery already and would not be hopping around the sidelines without crutches.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Let me be crystal clear - I put virtually no worth in them whatsoever - but these are probably the most anticipated Game Notes ever as folks will see if Hopkins chooses to list Epstein at Attack and identify a goalie. '06 is probably hitting the jhusports.com refresh already.

In the Inside Lacrosse article - JHU - which almost never references injuries - took the effort to identify Epstein as "day to day". That tells me at the time they did not believe it was a high grade sprain or tear. A diagnosis can obviously change, however. I was practically standing right next to him 2 week- ends ago and he was not flexing his right leg to any great extent - maybe he had a brace under the sweats to keep it restricted. If they knew back then he tore a ligament particularly an ACL - you would have likely gotten the initial language you saw around Joe Robertson which was - "he's out for a while - we'll know more in a few days".

16. Johns Hopkins - An injury to Joey Epstein clouds optimism. #WeWantMore hosts Towson 1 p.m. Saturday (live ESPN3; tape delayed ESPNU) with new personnel dotting the lineup. Mark Dixon and I will have the call.
Is there something to what Quint reported, or is he helping Petro with "gamesmanship?"

06 is figuring out how to put espn3.com on his tv instead of just my laptop since I'm an aging millenial and no longer on top of tech the way I was when dailyjolt.com and nokia phones were cool and we were able to download porn off that napster thing in the amrs. 16 did a great job and gave us a pretty good sketch of what we're going to see+that UNC game in 3 weeks should tell us if this team particularly on d has something elite or we're in for another 500 selection sunday bubble season.

Epstein is a great player, but this season doesn't come down to him, it comes down to whether the rest of the 25 guys who will see regular time can perform consistently at a maryland level or if we're going to struggle just to make the conference tournament. We've had tinneys and durkins and browns and epsteins over the decade but more often than not it's been the middle class of the lineup that's broken down and the upper middle class-guys like Reinson, colwell, the goalie, connor, zinn, that haven't elevated.

I’ve thought the Epstein injury is fake news all along.

Remember, Belichick is associated with the program.

You all do know there are two grassy knolls at Homewood, right?

Too much time in Writing Seminars working on literary allusions?

Every coach uses gamesmanship at one time or another. He appeared fo have an injury. Don’t know it’s severity. Do know coaches try not to give out much info either until they have to for one reason or another. It becomes harder with more coverage.

Many alums donated beyond Bloomberg’s 1.8 billion since the university raised 2.7 billion.

I wish Epstein a speedy return, but think attack is still pretty stacked. Success for the season will probably hinge on the middle of the field: SSDM and LSM improvements.

Oh, great. Another reason for Daniels to think he has the biggest dick.

But, at least money means a lot more than magazine rankings.

That’s probably the one thing I wish I paid more attention to. Not entirely sure what the starting EMO personnel was. For what it’s worth, I think there was only one—maybe two—EMO opportunities while most of the starters were in. Cole scored two goals in the first quarter and then he didn’t play a whole lot after that.

PS—just watched that WJZ video again, there is absolutely a #32 out there with full practice gear on around the 13-17 second mark. If you want to go full conspiracy theorist maybe it was a decoy.

Epstein be back soon. No program is going to maintain a day to day status. Problably just a sprain and being cautious as they should, at worst a small fix with short recovery that is nearly completed.

Obviously I'd love to have him on the field this week against Towson, but I'm not super hopeful. My gut feeling is that he'll miss a few of the early season games. I'm really hoping that he's able to go by UNC, Princeton, Syracuse stretch.

My guess is Epstein is out and Giacolone is the starter.

Epstein “starts” but has limited playing time.

Giacalone gets the nod over Darby.
