Now that Trump has ceded leadership of the American Government to Putin, Kim Jong-un and the Sheik of Araby, will "Good Buddy Bibi ", turn the governing of Israel over to Trump? POOR DONNY jerk NEEDS TO DESTROY ANOTHER COUNTRY.
First step...tear down that ridiculous Wailing Wall."THE TEMPLE" DON'T NEED PROTECTION NO MORE. It would make an ideal space to build a strip mall. Ideally, it would include a Shellfish Restaurant, a Pork Store, a strip club and a leather good store...no plastic...leather only.
Then build a few (7 or 8) Trump Resorts along that wasted shoreline. Lots of Shekels to be made.
Gotta build a tower at least 5 stories taller than the Burj Khalifa. Perhaps name it TRUMP TOWER EAST.? Why should Dubai be home to the world's tallest building?

Benji N has failed to form a new government. Benny Gantz, the liberal candidate is now trying and it appears he will be successful. If so Benji N is probably done for good given his age and legal troubles (corruption charge). If Gantz is unsuccessful, Israel will likely have its 3rd national election in less than a year.

Based on what I have seen of the Trump middle east peace plan, it is highly unlikely to fly. West Bank settlements remain the issue. Also these beans heads have no idea how diplomacy works. They invite the Israelis to DC and give them a preview prior to making announcement. For the Palestinians, nothing.

Not only the Palestinians......bet the Egyptians and Jordanians are just thrilled.
But it does divert attention from the main tent event and helps Bibi get re-elected (but not a get out of jail free card)

Especially since the proposal has the Palestinian capital of East Jerusalem still part of Israel (as it is now). Who is going to agree to have their capital inside another country?
They aren't going to go for Israeli annexation of Jordan Valley as well as all existing and planned Israeli settlements on the West Bank either.
It is a tough situation especially when the Palestinians won't talk to the Trump Administration seeing that they seem intent on giving away the store to the Israelis.
It's real purpose is to get Bibi re-elected....and to let the Trump/Kushner outfit in to wet their beaks on the development side. Badda Bing!
