I don't understand your question.

Of course we are doing the CHIPS Act because there's a strategic risk with operations based in Taiwan, given China's stated intentions and growing militarism. Even if China was to fail to take Taiwan, Buffett is right that operations there are at risk of major interruption.

We're particularly moving the most advanced chip production to the US.

I don't understand what the mystery would be for someone like Buffett making that call for his investments.

That said, I AM bothered by the idea that Tuberville is buying contracts on insider knowledge...heck, it ticks me off that both parties in Congress haven't put the kibosh on ANY financial market investments other than in blind trusts. Gross.

I'd be more shocked if someone were to tell me agencies and authorities didn't use the magic of Hollywood to manipulate, twist, and shape thinking (brainwash). That's just a marriage waiting to happen.

Heard this idea on a podcast recently, and it never crossed my mind as an option.

What if the January 6th event was planned, but not as what we all see and hear. What if it was an idea, set in motion, to show what happens when you protest against the gov't. So much so that they can lock you up without (conflicted accounts of) due process. And the kicker is that Trump is in out it.

The words and actions of Trump et al completely demolish this speculation. He asked for the government to be "taken back" and expected to have at least enough of a delay to force the certification of Congress to not happen that day.

And there has been plenty of due process for those who have been charged.

I've already suggested that we are all just the equivalent of of cells running thorough the veins of earth. It's why we are all connected, require the same air, water and food to survive. Kinda like a Tron world or Magic School Bus world.
