I’d love for it to grow, right now it’s pretty much IL and IL alone that has a real audience in this area, but I’m not sure this is the right thread to advertise it.

Not criticizing what he is trying to do, but rather where he is doing it.

I won’t say any more because this also isn’t the thread to discuss people posting in the wrong place, and if I go any further, I’ll be guilty myself.

Saturday’s scrimmage has been CANCELED after positive COVID-19 test results from individuals within Webber’s Tier 1 personnel.

JU will host an intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday afternoon, and its next contest is a scrimmage opposite Limestone on Feb. 6.

Notre Dame is @Duke (Thursday, April 22) and then @UNC (Sunday, April 25) in the same weekend. It makes sense logistically, but that's going to be a heck of a challenge.

I heard that the teams were still waiting for approval from the league office as of a week ago, don't know where it stands now. I think at least a few of the programs are still trying to figure out a way to schedule one or two non-conference games last-minute. Unclear if that is what is holding up the schedules or not. Penn State did post a cryptic tweet about its schedule yesterday before quickly deleting it so I wonder if we'll see some this week. Milliman told Hop alums earlier this month to expect to hear more by early February.

It was something like "Does anyone know where our schedule is??"—a pretty clear hint to me that they are planning on dropping it soon. Or maybe their social media person was just commiserating with fans.

BTW - Anyone know why IL is the ONLY place where the Home team is listed first? I thought Visitor @ Home was a universal standard when posting games and scores.

THIS has ALWAYS bothered me, to the point that I hardly ever read IL for ANYTHING.

The last straw for me was going to their site about a decade ago and reading these upside down scores, and they had the score correct but the WINNER WRONG on a couple of entries. I think it is (or at least was) confusing even for whoever was entering the data.

Plus, they don’t convey if games are at a neutral site. You know, asterisks work wonders...

So, I don’t trust IL for anything, including basic scores. Rankings? Yeah, LOL. Clickbait.
