You need a logic course. No, you just need to respond to the question. Buying an electric car would help, but is inconsequential to the actual coming issues by itself. Huh?? Whether a particular community allows something can be overridden by laws - property restrictions written into deeds get eliminated all the time (like saying you cannot sell the property to someone black or Jewish).

You also imply that DocBarrister said that everyone would be killed - which is absolutely false. Try reading sometime... What should I be reading? Instead of mocking and insulting, how'z about answering the questions? If we are NOT going to die because the YEARLY average has gone up 3 degrees, what is the issue? The problem?
I don't wanna be a moron. Help me out. Today's temp swing in my neck of the woods will almost be 30 degrees, in less than 10 hours. How is this catostrophic ? Please don't send garbage about "more this.....less that.....stronger this....weaker that " when scientifically talking about .00000001 of the earths existence. ( 150 years of record keeping )

Do you think the Donner party thought the snow was EXTREME
Temperature swings of 45 degrees per day is quite common in desert areas. Has nothing to do with it as you again are talking about (weather vs. climate yet again). Laughable, how will a 3 degree swing affect the CLIMATE, in YOUR climate? You have no idea what you are talking about.
Again you need a logic course. And you have no information to make that statement.
The issue is that a 3 degree rise in temperature will shift times of spring thaws and fall freezes. It will lead to extremes (due to the fact that a 3 degree rise puts a huge amount of energy into the earth system). I asked you NOT to bring up the bull dung "extreme" nonsense.
That is your name for it, but that does not make you correct (which you are not).
It potentially could lead to runaway feedback loops. One example is related to the fact that to get cooling you need to reflect more solar energy into space. That happens naturally when you have cooler _summers_ because you restrict the snow melt in the north, and snow has greater reflectivity than land or water. So warm summers leading to greater snow/ice cap melt can lower reflectivity, and increase solar gain.

Another one is melting of permafrost and creation of GHGs by natural processes (like decay) as well as releasing already trapped GHGs like methane. Can't we just burn the methane, breaking the "neither create nor destroy" matter down to less harmless gases? guess you don't abide by that theory either. Burning the methane just trades one GHG for another. CO2 is not harmless in the sense of the greenhouse effect.

A lot of cities around the world that are coastal would be threatened by sea level rise. It could lead to a lot of displaced people, which could put refugee pressure on wealthier areas of the world. That is why climate issues have become quite large in the European white nationalist movement - they don't want people from, say, Bangladesh showing up in Western Europe... SO WHAT. Displaced people. Like THAT's never happened in human /animal history before. Why do birds migrate? You and yours don't CARE if oceans rize If I am relaxing , 200 yards from land, on a boat, am I in a different climate than you, if you are on the beach. 200 yards away ? Understand this question?
I only understand that you like to troll by throwing in a bunch of nonsense.

We are the world....feed the world. That Bob Guildoff fundraiser. Famine. People dying from starvation. Because of greed. No one said ONE word about climate warming during this event. Remember Bono talking about climate change? David Bowie? Queen? How about the concert here in the US? Madonna spout off about climate change? For that matter, how many climate change "believers" attend harmful, polluting concerts. These hypocrites don't realize the carbon footprint of emptying 500 portta potties. Lollapolloza indeed.

Why do you ask soooo many questions? Try not to be insulted. ;)

And, I am not insulted. Plenty of hypocrites calling others out, for whataboutism, staying on topic, etc.

Instead of asking a question...or for that matter....ANSWERING one.......it's telling that you support this worthless comment from jhu72. His purpose, by logging into this website and typing the conversation adding comment, is lost on me. Other than to insult.

How about addressing the issues. The questions.
Absolutely no clue what you are trying to assert regarding jhu72...which of his "worthless comments" am I supposedly supporting?

I got nothing from these replies, other than you can't debate worth squawt.

The argument that any city will be underwater has NOTHING to do with the climate nomenclature, which YOU don't care to acknowledge the science behind it.

Will ask again. Is the climate any different when tied up to Jimmy Buffets boat in Key West, than it is on Duval st. or the US Naval air station?

While NOT my drone footage, when we tied up here....and the surrounding islands......was the climate different when out on the water, vs. the land?

Come one holmes, what CLIMATE do YOU live in? Koppen scale, or USDA-Hardiness zone, either will suffice.

Now, what climate is your home changing too?

The non-answers....always....is telling .

From the above link, find your "home". The area where your primary home is located. The LAT & Long. GPS coordinates.

From that map, what is your zone? today.

Now, what climate is it going to change. too ?

"portfolio worth" ??

Hoping to hear if my "portfolio" will get displayed at the local library. Value ? Priceless for mental outlet/health and satisfaction when completed. Not sure if I have enough nice frames. Watercolours are the best for the environment. My favorite is the painting of Buddy Guy. Used salt for a great look.
The check he signed is in the bottom of the frame. You wanna buy it and add to my portfolio? SoHo is only interested in selling the elite/rich art work. Mostly junk.

Practicing fauvism, mostly, now.

Are the people on the beach in a different climate than the ones on the water? Even the ones on the horizon?

Great to know......climate exists in a vacuum and never on TOP of the water. Is your house on the market , it better be. You've got the scoop and insider trading. Sell now, before it really, really happens.
