So this is how some folks get their "payback" against the police? Some stupid F**K will now probably wind up with 3 counts of attempted murder on a police officer. If convicted that person will probably spend a good portion of the rest of their lives in jail. They sure taught those "pigs" a lesson didn't they? I'm waiting to see how long it takes some of the knuckleheads on this forum to use the public anger against the police to justify murdering cops? I am betting it will not take very long.

Minneapolis police attack on George Floyd was being audio/video monitored. It was evident at the time that he was not resisting and the attack was clearly out of line:

There were other calls as shown in the link where people reported police crimes on the victim. Now let's see if a judge will allow these as evidence in the cop's murder trial. I'm betting that's one bird that's gonna fly like they always do.

“Yesterday I went from celebrating an 11-year-old boys birthday party with my brothers and sisters at work to responding to the absolutely tragic death of two babies.
This is the other side.
The raw side that nobody talks about.
The side everyone who isn’t in law enforcement doesn’t realize happens to us... but believe it or not, we grieve too. We are humans. You just don’t know because once we leave that terrible, heart wrenching call, we come to you and there are no tears or anger from the last call we were at. We’re just there to take care of you.
I simply ‘file it away’ as I tell people that ask, ‘How do you deal with the things you’ve seen?’
This picture was taken a few hours into my shift today and you guessed it, I had to wipe those tears up and go to the next call.
I wholeheartedly understand I’m not the only person affected by this, and there are so many people, family included, who this affects more than me - I understand that and I am not trying to take anything away from anyone at all. It’s simply on my heart to share this tonight.
I know with what’s going on in our world right now it won’t accomplish much, but I just pray you have mercy on all of us. We are all fighting a battle that you can’t see just by looking at us. We take this uniform off every night and we crawl into bed and have to learn how to process the grief, just like any other human being.
To my brothers and sisters who are battling it too, thank you for not giving up and I am always here to listen.”

It's an odd thing to me when Democrats never bemoan the loss of jobs to completely innocent people, as they get lost in the haze of virtue signaling about people like Brooks they truly could not care less about. Whereas I am genuinely sad that people who count on income are now without that income, all because some woke white antifa ingrate likely living on her parent's couch torched their place of business.
But 'what about Brooks', they say! I am having a hard time getting worked up about a guy who swung at a cop's face then shot at the cop with a (stun) gun which he likely thought was areal gun. Do you need people to hand hold you to watch the video? The woman is white. Or are we now at the stage where liberals say you can't believe videos that show a person's skin color?

It's weird that in any interaction with a policeman, if you act normally and don't punch the cop, take the cop's gun, or shoot the cop's gun at the cop, everyone generally survives. Weird how that works. Try it out.
Or just don't call them. Let the criminals take whatever they want from your home. No one will shed a tear, I promise.

Yup. The police only respond to the power in the society they live and work in.
Believe it or not, I think we are making progress. The vast majority of citizens in this country see the problem. I suspect the majority of police officers also understand the problem or are close to getting it. The problem is a few bad apples and a system that has sprung up to "protect" them, coupled with an aging, dying cohort of the citizenry (racists) who like it the way it is ("white men" on top) and feel it is time for the gloves to come off, as pseudo "tough guys" always do. It is good to see more an more police officers and chiefs demonstrating by their actions that they get it.
