That’s a good idea.jhu72 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 2:27 pm There are solutions to the Gaza Medical care problem. The world has a solution that no one is talking about. There are dozens of medical relief vessels in the world. A handful of these individually would be suitable for making a significant impact! The logistic problems would need to be addressed, but these are relatively easy to solve compared to the Hamas being dug in problem.
The US and Israel could solve the problem together, it only takes the will to solve the logistical and security problems associated with docking a supertanker or two (USNS Comfort and USNS Mercy - 1000 beds each). Such a facility exists 2 miles north of the northern Gaza fence line. The main Chinese military hospital ship Daishan Dao (320+ beds), could offer the most immediate assistance if it were available. This could likely dock a half mile from main Hospital in Gaza City. Two NGO owned hospital ships, Global Mercy (100 bed) and Africa Mercy (50 bed) would offer similar docking capability. Brazil, Indonesia and Russia also have similar capabilities.
what happened brooklyn? you don't because you can't! Only criticisms and attacks! and then you're given 3 reasonable reasons why america should be involved in the israel-hamas war and you go in the corner with kinduv. what happened?!...Matnum PI wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 1:26 pm1. There are at least 10 americans amongst the hostages. Based on the barbarity of the 1,400 civilians killed on October 7, there's no telling what the jihadists are currently doing to them.
2. Jihadists hate Americans almost as much as they hate Israelis. Maybe more. Jihadists took down the Twin Towers. Jihadists murder americans whenever given a chance. Any time a nation is at war with Jihadists, this is most certainly relevant for america.
3. And even if jihadists loved americans, which they most certainly do not, removing these truly vile, dangerous people from the face of the earth is a priority for any nation that has the ability to do so.
Did you read Matnum's post a few posts down? At what point does anyone want to be a sitting duck or risk moving in and out via truck, chopper, or even a vessel sitting in port? Jihadists would love nothing more than an open aired target full of (what they perceive as) infidels. Although, you may be on to something.....let the Chinese ship do it, and if the jihadist's attack that, its likely China will solve the problem rather quickly.jhu72 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 2:27 pm There are solutions to the Gaza Medical care problem. ... I think an attack on a medical relief ship would be an extremely dangerous move for Hamas. Such an attack would prove to the rest of the Arab world they don't care even a little about the Palestinians. This would do a great favor for the Arab leaders who want to be done with Hamas. Besides, not all of Hamas leadership is in Palestine. They can be gotten to. -- so yes I had thought about it!youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 5:08 pmDid you read Matnum's post a few posts down? Are we not firing weapons somewhere? Where is your criticism of Biden?
Great minds think alike. That will be determined by what our enemies do -- Russia, Iran & Hamas.
We are doing everything we can to support our allies, protect our citizens (in Israel), & prevent these conflicts from spreading.

That would make a juicy target for Hamas rocket attacks. Aim for the + +.
