If anything, it shows that maybe KT made a mistake recruiting players that can't handle her coaching style. But to question her coaching ability is just crazy talk. She's been successful everywhere she's been.
Success at this point will only take her so far. I don’t see continued success with a blown up 2026 recruiting class and a coaching staff in question. .

It's ridiculous. If this were such a big deal, she would have been gone long ago. She's not gone. Therefore, it's not a big deal.

You have to remember, close to half the team was recruited by Gary Gait. When he was the coach at SU he had the bus stop for ice cream after losses. He was the exact opposite of tough on his players. I think there are some parents who’s daughters were recruited by GG, love Cuse, but didn’t love KT’s more aggressive style of coaching and it got tougher with the staff addition for 2023-2024. So now you see some anonymous posts with negative feedback on a fairly well regarded lacrosse coach.

So apparently KT and the girlfriend - asst coach - are now living together … Can’t be easy on the other asst coach ….unless KT can be purely objective …..IDK I think that’s a tough one.

If the thread is going to blast out Treanors name let’s stop referring to the other woman as the “assistant coach” and call her by name as well. Pretty sure the assistant she is apparently now living with is Abigail Rehfuss who was added to staff 2023-2024 not Caitlin Defliese Watkins, hopefully there is no confusion there.

I’m a Syracuse supporter following this along. No kids on the team. Don’t know KT personally but do know people around the program. And know several former players who were there under both Gary and KT.

There’s some wild stuff posted here that’s simply not true. If she’s genuinely abusive and violating policies, then go to the media. Otherwise this just sounds like why parents are often the worst influence on their kids sports careers. Too many are coddled.

As a Syracuse supporter, I want to win. Don’t care if the girls are friends with their coach. Honestly there was talk around the program earlier this year that she was too close and friendly with the players. That her young age was bad. And she wasn’t demanding enough.

Now she’s too tough for making people watch film? Come on. Think some of you’d be shocked by what happens at high level d 1 programs in a number of sports. Lot of different coaching styles. The reality is winning isn’t easy. Winning takes a lot of sacrifices. There’s a big difference between being demanding and abusive. If the women don’t like getting called out for losing they should play somewhere else. The expectation is winning a national title at Syracuse, not making friends.

If players have legitimate abusive issues with KT, they should go to the media. They don’t have to out themselves. Both the Post Standard or Daily Orange would report it if there are legitimate issues without outing any of the women. Otherwise this is just anonymous rumor mongering. Some of you need to step up if there’s really bad stuff happening and help the women or quit the anonymous nonsense.

The question here is, who is the widely  ?
Alicia thinks so though. Brought her a vanilla ice cream,
club soda, and mulberry syrup very tasty and refreshing
drink on Monday (a DMac original concoction). She loved
it, and none of you have ever had one of those. From the
gods, it's delightful.

All honesty it never should have been begun.
Only one reason, well two, it was. There's no
escaping the criticism of such poor decisions,
particularly when given the role and position(s).
Aint no sweepin' it under the rug, the dirt's out there.
.....and it sucks, big time!!
