Florida will crush them. And... It'll be a good game because Florida is good. Pitt-Liberty will be a closer game, for sure. But not necessarily better.

Yale-Duke is definitely one to keep an eye on.

With the loss to UConn on Saturday, this and the Army game on 4/4 are really Yale’s only shot at boosting their chance of a tournament spot (in case the Ivy tournament doesn’t go their way) - currently the only ranked team they have a win over is Princeton. If they can get a win in one (or both) of these games it will go a long way to help them in May regardless of automatic bid.

Meanwhile Duke has to feel embarrassed by the loss at Clemson and will be coming out to prove a point.

Should make for a good game.

What is going on at Duke? Back when I was being recruited (2011/2012 ish) and probably for about 5 years after that as we all remember Duke was a national powerhouse. They never missed a final 4. I grew up in a lax hotbed and lots of girls had trouble choosing between Duke and UNC. Just curious what led to their performance dip.

Duke is just not a well coached team. Plenty of talent. But bad coaching. No excuse for them to be where they are now. I used to give them the benefit of the doubt over stanford but they are at the same level. A Duke Vs. Stanford game might be the worse game of lacrosse in history. Would finish 7-6 with 20 turnovers for each team. Every goal from free positions.

I'll be interested in watching the Loyola vs. Syracuse game today. Syracuse is on the road. I'll take Cuse 15-9.

5 years after 2012 Duke only made the final four once. Twice if you include 2011. They were certainly more of a top 10 team, but not quite perennially top 5.

What does retention look like? Are players quitting and transferring left and right? Because if not, that might say something about the student-athlete experience, which is comprised of a lot more than just W’s and L’s.

7-6 Loyola with a quarter to go. Syracuse offense looks, umm, stodgy.

No. It's not random. And, I did say as a precursor (which I still believe to be true) that there aren't a lot of good games this weekend. With that said, the rankings are based on the (FanLax Computer) Rankings of the relevant teams. #1 vs. #2 is the best game possible. Second best possible is #1 vs. #3. etc.
