I will be looking forward to see what AOF does this season. Another OOC game Wednesday before NMH on Saturday. This gives them some great opportunity to work out some more "kinks" before playing Berkshire. From what I saw the Gov's fogo gave them some fits, and they played a lot of man down... so coming out with a 14-10 win could be leading to positive things.

Also will give the coaching staff credit for their scheduling (maybe?). They definitely stacked up the top NEW1 teams at the back end of their season.

What does this mean? Is it a more strict school and that somehow impacts its athletic teams?

GP with a 5-0 run at the end? Did Salisbury put their reserves in?

12-7 final. GP won the 2nd half. Wonder if Salisbury took their foot off the pedal or whether GP just had one of those halves where nothing goes right in the 1st half. Would love some color. Anyway, solid win to open the season.

Bobby Wynne and Scott Urick have a Hobart connection. Scott’s dad was a legend there. I’m sure there was quite a bit of designed brake pumping when it was 10-2 at half.

You’d be amazed at how many good lax players really like to party. Look at NCAA survey results. Good players like to do activities that get you booted from Westy with a quickness.

I had no idea they were known as the “strict” school.

My wife went there and that is news to me. I can’t imagine you could get away with more at, say, Choate than Westminster. Great showing for Salisbury, it is misleading to say GP won the second half, it was 8-2 at half and 12-2 with 5 minutes left, clear case of subbing out and letting off the gas.

Yes. Choate is actually THE example of the “permissive” boarding school. They’ve made the news at Choate for that kind of thing

Prime time, are you suggesting there were Westy lax player dismissed from the team this year for disciplinary reasons? Or that this happens regularly there compared to other league schools? If so, you must know something that the many WEST-1 folks who have been posting for 10-15 years on LP and then here don’t know.
