Malta - stay at Xara’s Palace in the old capital of Mdina, the walled city. At night, Mdina has very few residents, so you can walk the streets at anytime safely. You can sit on the City’s Wall at night and look into the Med and see the phosphoresce. Malta has been a thing for over six millennia. It located in the middle of the Med which gave it huge strategic importance. When we were there Putin’s and Paul M’s yachts were anchored in the harbor. It has a high income economy. There is a LOT of off shore money there.
