Yes. But why not try again? This time around, he has nothing else to accomplish. Last time, he had one title. This time, he has two, including one with an undefeated season. In addition, he is a few years older now. If he definitely wants to have a run as Navy’s coach, maybe now would be the time to jump on it. If he doesn’t he could be well into his 60s the next time it opens.Abr2016 wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 9:44 pmTried that alreadygymman1031 wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 5:32 pm Would John Tillman consider returning to Navy? Please tell us who is going to surprise? Army getting better recruits. Next year 2 Plunketts will be a hand fullgymman1031 wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 12:12 pm One thing to remember is that, while Navy loses a lot of seniors, next year, a lot more of the regular players will be ones that Amplo recruited for his system. That said, due to that, might the Mids surprise?
That doesn't mean Navy can't surprise, though.lorin wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 12:31 pmPlease tell us who is going to surprise? Army getting better recruits. Starts around the 10:25 mark.
~ 17:10 - Our offense was outdated, so much so Cottle had to take plays from Laf and Denver. (We've been saying this for 10 years now, nice to hear him confirm it)
Ross wasn’t outdated either. He may be talking about set plays on EMO. Where we seemed to have more of them this year opposed to just flowing out of a set.viho wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 1:42 pmPhipps was running outdated plays?!?!youthathletics wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 11:41 amThanks.AreaLax wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 11:25 am Quint interviewed Cottle

That’s coming from a guy who has been out of coaching for awhile. Hmmm.
That's what Ty Xanders is reporting. Was he injured this year or did he leave USNA at some point? No stats for him in spring 2024, so far as I can tell, although he was referenced in a fallball 2023 Inside Lacrosse "all access" article.
