Peluso is the only former Lyco coach still coaching college lax. Lycoming is a great stepping stone for guys trying to get out of coaching. Too bad, they have pretty nice facilities and a decent degree.

Who are some candidates to keep an eye on opening head coaching jobs? A lot of great assistants out there

Not an opening, but Medaille (NY) is closing in August. Three coaches and about 15 players that might try to catch on somewhere else.

Eastern has promoted their assistant to an interim HC position. Interesting move this early in the timeframe, feels like they could have posted it and seen what came in. Good luck to Coach Piper

They have had a number of months to figure it out. Maybe he has been the guy the whole time. Interim tag though, is interesting. Give him at least a year before they (consider) taking the tag off?

There should be a few more job openings being announced soon. I know of a pretty solid one that should be opening up soon that would garner a lot of attention, has not been formally announced yet.

No but I would think that would be a good job and they have a decent program so would think that would be desirable place.

No but I would think that would be a good job and they have a decent program so would think that would be desirable place.

It’s easily the best current opening. However without strong admissions and administrative support I think they are about at their ceiling, considering the Centennial is a strong league that seems to be improving even more.
