That title deserves its own thread.
The song that immediately comes to mind is Honey by Bobby Goldsboro. The guy had some pretty good hits in his time but that song absolutely bites the Big One.

Songs I Wouldn't Miss if I Never Heard Them Again
I thought of doing that but didn't know if it would catch on.
One of the main reasons I get sick of hearing a given song is because it got so much repeated airplay that it made the song unlistenable for me. Payola on steroids. I'm grateful that I'm no longer in an environment where I'm forced to listen to "Classic Rock". That's typically where the aforementioned occurs.

Got to object to Midnight Rider on the list. Give the Laid Back version, solo Gregg, a listen. Brass & strings are awesome.OuttaNowhereWregget wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 8:20 am Beast of Burden - Rolling Stones

One man's trash is another man's treasure. Not to say that any of the songs I've listed so far are trash, just that I've heard them so many times that I just would be fine without ever hearing them again, regardless of the rendition.Olderbarndog wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 4:42 pmGot to object to Midnight Rider on the list. Agreed. To each their own. Could easily take Jessica & Ramblin Man out of circulation for awhile.
