2019 will be very competitive. The last time there were three NCAA bids was in 2015. Could happen this year. Very competitive conference the next 3 to 4 years.

The Inside Lacrosse Top 40 Attackman list for 2018 lists John John Lombardi as a Yale commit.
I assume this is a mistake - ?
Please, someone tell me this is a mistake.

Unless he's transferred in the last two weeks, it's a mistake

They’ve fixed the error and Lombardi is now properly listed as a Cornellian.

From some recent posts at elynah:
Sitting outside the stadium yesterday, one Mr. Andy Noel stopped over to chat with the only Cornell fans who were around. In the course of conversation, he mentioned that we just picked up a new FOGO from of all places, Australia.
...
His name is Tim Graham. I saw him on the televised World Games last summer, and he is great. Trevor Baptiste of Denver and now in the MLL considered the best college faceoff specialist in the country (The kid who decided on Yale doesn't have as long a track record) faced off against Graham 12 times. Graham won 5. Almost a standoff. I'm very optimistic. Yeah, we lost that other guy, but he has only two years of eligibility left and Graham has all four. You can probably see Youtube videos of those Australian National Team games.
...
My information (directly from the coaching staff) is that he is enrolling in January and is eligible immediately.

I remember commenting on this kid saying I wouldn't be surprised if someone picked him up. He was mighty impressive and it wasn't as if he was facing off against a bunch of slouches.
Good get for the Big Red.

I think I recall that he went 5 for 12 against Trevor Baptiste this summer, in the Australia vs. U.S.A. game in Israel.

I remember his performance very well. He was extremely determined and had tremendous endurance.

From Quint K's blog at this summer's FIL World Lax Championship:
Australian FOGO Timothy Graham, an 18-year-old from Melbourne, has held his own against pros during the Blue Division pool play. He is deserving of an NCAA look.
For the tournament he won 52 of 100 against stiff competition.

From CU Lacrosse:

The scrimmage vs. Maryland is on Sunday (Oct. 14) at noon. The team will scrimmage Naz afterwards at 3. Both games are at Schoellkopf. Something should be on the website on Monday or Tuesday.

Weather isn't being completely uncooperative, morning rain but should be just cloudy with temp in the 50s by "game" time. No reason to not get a decent turn out for this.

Nice 2020 pick up-- Andrew Dalton, M, St. Michael's, Canada. When I first started watching these highlights, I thought he was completely left-handed, but he does have a few off hand goals sprinkled in. Looks very skilled and glad to see this commitment, as we seemed to be lagging in 2020 relative to some others.

Dalton is IL’s 62nd ranked HS junior. Watching his clips he has a great stick, and seems very elusive. Definitely looks like a midfielder or attackman who can be a real contributor to the program.
