I could see Severn and Broadneck being close...but will go with Severn.

Love these local rivalries. The biggest games for many of these teams each year. Fun, rowdy crowds, electric playoff atmosphere, and tough competition.

Severna Park looks good. I think they give StM a game, and beat Severn.

I think Broadneck loses to StM and goes the distance with Severn. Probably too close to call that neighborhood rivalry.

I'd be surprised if Broadneck can hang with St. Mary's, maybe Severna Park can. Kent Island's goalie, only a junior, in one of the best in the state. I wonder how many saves he had vs Broadneck.

That was 2011…not 2010.

I only remember because SP was undefeated in 2010. 20-0. And the churn around MD was that the SP team was very good, but wasn’t particularly tested. So SP beefed up their schedule the following year with Manhasset and one MIAA team.

But I agree. Love those interstate games!
