Took him a few minutes to get comfortable with too many "uh"s at the beginning, but after that he sounded great. Certainly way better and more coherent than Trump, and he was also moving faster and more spryly than Trump has in a few decades.
You must have missed that he was standing directly in front of a white Chevy Bolt as well as the Fords and a Dodge. No worries!
An electric Corvette will certainly make the trip from DC to Wilmington with no problem. A Tesla Model S would make the trip 3-4 times without needing a charge.
Dear Lord indeed, dementia Joe is just fine and dandy. He is at the top of his game, never been sharper than he is right now. The best argument the dems have at this point is... Joe is not as far gone yet as trump is.

By Daniel Webster oratory does that mean neither person can string together cohesive sentences without drifting off into the twilight zone? I like Joe Biden. he is a decent if very confused guy at this stage of the game. The problem is the American people have to choose which least mentally stable individual they want to be POTUS. If Joe Biden is the very best candidate the democrat party has to offer why didn't they just run HRC again? The race for POTUS should be between the best and the brightest. It has become which candidate is the least mentally impaired.

It's interesting that he gets warmed up after a couple of minutes of saying hello to folks and then starts ripping Trump quite vehemently, having just learned of the tapes and their revelations shortly before...no teleprompter, he's got a very coherent attack.

Well, it isn't quite that stark, although in a head-to-head race, I'd vote for a Tree Stump over Trump at this point (which is to say, I am not sure I need a traditional "pulse"); that much is true.
When I looked over the credible field of VP candidates, and the guardrails that Joe and the Democratic Party set up, I thought Harris was a decent choice. She is smart. She is experienced enough for the role. She appears to value smart people, although her campaign for the Presidential nomination had some organizational issues and problems, apparently. If you start this sort of stuff from an understanding that nothing and no one is perfect, and that all of these choices are grinding, brutal slo-motion acts of compromise, then I am OK with the Democratic ticket. The tropes about Joe having dementia, etc., are nonsense, and I am surprised that some usually critical middle of the roaders or "hate them all" types (C&S, I am looking at you!) are taken in by it. If he wins, Joe will do his four years, and then there will be a free-for-all.

Reagan literally had Alzheimers and still finished his second term.
Biden will be there for sure until the end of his term in 2025. And if he starts to coast, his chief of staff will matter 100X more than Kamala.
Kamala (not Kamela) only gets the job via an election.
And there's zero doubt that Joe is in better mental and physical shape than Trump. And will read more, work more, watch less cable TV, tweet less.
This line of argument is beyond stupid. I doubt even Petey troll boy believes it.
