Your ex lost some serious weight.

Big man, big character. Reminds me some of Bill Parcells , demanding but beloved by many.

Good luck to JHU other than April 3rd.
Petro is looking healthy. Great to see. I forget who the poster was that was obsessed with the staff weight but I’m sure they will be over the moon with joy.
may have been a Syracuse fan, trolling?

Obsessed would be overstating bigly as is over the moon with joy but it was I who commented more than once on the size of the Hopkins coaches much to the disdain of Hop16 but that was the fun part. Inexcusable for a D1 coach at an elite program like Hopkins to be waddling around the way those two were. You're not at a high energy level, feeling real good about yourself, or presenting a very good image when you're carrying around that kind of weight. Yes, Petro is looking rather svelte these days, bet he's feeling a whole lot better between his ears too. Weight loss is a head game, tune in and it aint all that hard.

It's really hard to ride players about their weight when you're tipping the truck scales yourself.
I've noticed the new staff is all lean and mean.

I don't remember ever posting about the weight. The LM reporter should've been smart enough to know the reinvented petro narrative has been pitched for a decade and other than the role and school it's the same song.

My mistake. Sorry.

Thought it was interesting the final two home games — vs. PSU and Maryland — are both 6pm starts. Lately when we've played at Maryland it's been a night game but when the Terps come to Homewood it's a day game. I assume the change was done for TV reasons.

The Jays will be used to playing under the lights at that point as games vs. Navy and at Towson and Delaware are all 6pm starts or later.

Freshman Whitaker appears to be no longer on the roster. We're down to 55.

The Women play OSU that afternoon so it should be a fun day.

And Sam left the team voluntarily.

A night game in february does not sound pleasant for fans in the stands or players. Not sure what Towson was thinking.

they have done it before either '17 or '15 - I was there - 6 or 7 PM on a Friday. Pretty sure some body parts of people are still at Johhny U from that game because cold was spelled in All Caps that night. It was also at Towson in the evening if I recall that I deciphered something was amiss in 2013 when players mysteriously were absent. So Towson's thinking "worked in the past"

More concerning than the flip is what is going on at the Ivy schools and their response to Covid. Don’t be surprised if Hopkins pre season is impacted again this year and we saw how that effected the start of the 2021 season.

He’s OK,

but really not much more than OK from what I’ve
seen,

plenty of time to make up for that departure.

i wasn't trying to suggest the recruit switch was dire news or anything - just news.

Given the season is less than 50 days away - I too am fearful to be subjected to more of '06's endless rants about why lax is postponed/cancelled while SEC football can figure it out.

I'm onto Cincinnati/2022/Jacksonville.

In other news, the Ravens lost again this week because of a controversial pass interference penalty.
It's the same story every week.
I was telling my daughter before the game, hey the Ravens will lose today and it will be because of a bogus pass interference penalty and sure enough....
The NFL is becoming so predictable. It's obvious they use the officials to manipulate the outcomes of games. Such a big fat fraud perpetrated on the public...

Hey, do people bet on lacrosse? The influence of gambling in this country is undermining the integrity of our sports. I wonder just how far this extends into the college level.

And then that rediculous false start penalty where the raven linemen was getting set and the ball hadn’t been snapped that cost a 4th and one on the goal line. Lost 4 points. And the phantom pass interference that gave GB a touchdown.

I was thinking the same thing. If I were a betting person on the game it would be insane. That game was very suspiciously officiated and was basically obvious. There were also many favorable / unfavorable ball spotting issues.
