But now this: a guy on Twitter says Rudy has been taken to Walter Reed Pool Supplies.
I love the fact that these guys point out what Fauci said in February when we didn’t have many cases and we were still learning about the virus.....When a coach’s game plan calls for no slides to a particular player and then the coach changes his mind after getting his lunch eaten in the first quarter, I wonder how many players say, “but coach you told us not to slide in the first quarter”.....I am hoping a sports analogy with a simple concept sticks.a fan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 6:38 pmI'm saying that you and ABV have managed to convince yourself that Congress and Trump report to Fauci, and they simply do what he says.youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:16 pmYou are wayyyy better than to play that silly game. Come on. Enough with your contrarianism. You won't lose points if you say one bad thing about Trump.
Fauci ain't in charge. THAT is my point. And that ruffles your feathers, because you're upset that anyone is holding Trump accountable.
Meanwhile? You and both know that you and ABV are going to be ALL OVER Biden for how he handles the mess.
We both know they'd be complaining if Fauci didn't change a single word this entire time.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 7:05 pmI love the fact that these guys point out what Fauci said in February when we didn’t have many cases and we were still learning about the virus.....When a coach’s game plan calls for no slides to a particular player and then the coach changes his mind after getting his lunch eaten in the first quarter, I wonder how many players say, “but coach you told us not to slide in the first quarter”.....I am hoping a sports analogy with a simple concept sticks.a fan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 6:38 pmI'm saying that you and ABV have managed to convince yourself that Congress and Trump report to Fauci, and they simply do what he says.youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:16 pmYou are wayyyy better than to play that silly game. ...and we were running short on facemasks for frontline workers. This was during the toilet paper, paper towel, etc. shortage and... facemasks. so Fauci says, People, wait on the facemasks. and the interviewer explicitly speaks to the shortage and Fauci laughs and says, Yes. Now, 10 months later, someone points a finger and says, See! Even Fauci is saying we don't need facemasks, etc. It's ridiculous...Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 7:05 pm I love the fact that these guys point out what Fauci said in February when we didn’t have many cases and we were still learning about the virus...
It is ridiculous. People seem to have lost all context....yet this guy had no impact on the USA response:Matnum PI wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 10:02 pm...and we were running short on facemasks for frontline workers. Do you get the hives when someone MIGHT say something bad about Trump, or something?
"Fauci is just as culpable."youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 8:08 amYou never answered the question....then tried to spin away from it.
ABV is arguing, like me, that Fauci is just as culpable, was naïve, or over confident....or doing his very best all things considered. Yet, the Monday morning quarterbacks around here want to pin it all on Trump; I don't see you as a TLD or Brooklyn type.
Dr. Fauci was 'the man' that most all media outlets were listening too and reporting on, it also may very well be why Pelosi was also saying go to China town and party very late in February. This was a time just before Fauci was in the White House CV-19 TaskForce each day. If memory serves me, you too, have openly admitted around these parts, that this virus caught us all by surprise and the one thing it exposed, is that we were caught with our pants. down.
To point to Fauci’s early mask comment and use that to suggest he’s even slightly as culpable as Trump in how bad Covid has become in the US is being disingenuous, unfair, and frankly stupid.youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 8:08 amYou never answered the question....then tried to spin away from it.a fan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:32 pmSo Dr. Fauci is the first Federal employee in the history of our nation that has to deal with political considerations while doing his job?youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:16 pmYou are wayyyy better than to play that silly game. “Dr. Fauci was the man”. “Caught with our pants down”...what happened to “Spitballing”?youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 8:08 amYou never answered the question....then tried to spin away from it.a fan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:32 pmSo Dr. Fauci is the first Federal employee in the history of our nation that has to deal with political considerations while doing his job?youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:16 pmYou are wayyyy better than to play that silly game. No. I'm trying to reckon how protests were deemed NOT spreader events when I watched them first hand and they were no different than that Bicycle Rally in SD. Limited and inconsistent mask use, very close proximity, outside etc. One side just SAID that they were safe. The other was openly not.dislaxxic wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 9:27 am Respectfully, Kramer...we have - largely - folks on this board that are informed, (at least) semi-literate people that tend to keep up with the news.
Survey the group that went to the big motorcycle rally in South Dakota. Or maybe, any of the attendees at any of the recent Trump rallies. The ACB announcement event at the White House?
I'm going to go out on a limb and HOPE you're not warming up for a comment along the line of "what the president or his leadership group says about a given topic doesn't really make a difference..."
..
Our governor and town officials have done a good job. I have listened to Fauci, Birx and other CDC and WHO officials supplemented by my own readings. It has been documented that people have died because they believe the Virus to be a hoax. I can recall one prominent official in particular calling it a hoax. What about you?kramerica.inc wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 9:21 am So who here (on both sides) took their pandemic safety/medical advice from Trump or ANY of these politicians for the Past 9 mos?
Out of curiosity. Full honesty.
Is the left mad at some measurable, adverse effects Trump actually caused? Or in the case of Trump for his whole presidency (and politics in general) one side just didn't like the opposite, mean, idiotic, empty words the other side said?
I don't understand how front line workers can be running low on facemasks? The 3 stores that I go to, Wegmans, Home Depot and Wal Mart have 100s if not thousands of boxes of facemasks on their shelves. They have equally a plentiful supply of hand sanitizer. Maybe the hospital supply people should get a PO and take a trip to any big box store and stock up.Matnum PI wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 10:02 pm...and we were running short on facemasks for frontline workers. You are confusing February with December. We had two local companies donate PPE to hospitals out of their supply.cradleandshoot wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 9:41 amI don't understand how front line workers can be running low on facemasks? Somehow I doubt they are N95 masks in the big box stores...cradleandshoot wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 9:41 amI don't understand how front line workers can be running low on facemasks?
