Good sign for Hop that they are 11 for 17 on face-offs at present -- including winning a bunch against Ball, who had a very good week last week vs. Loyola for GU at the X.

What makes that a really terrible call is that Stoebner does exactly what every coach tells the sliding defender to do: hands low and slide through the hands of the shooter. The timing is off, fine, but there isn't anything like stick up, leading with the helmet, or direct helmet-to-helmet contact that would warrant any sort of unreleasable penalty, much less 2 minutes.

Good response on the offensive end after the gift unreleasable EMO for GT. Defense has to stay out of the penalty box. WAY too many fouls.
