They had been commissioned as part of a celebration in the town. After it was over, they put the dogs up for auction. I considered bidding. That is, until I saw what the prices were going to be. Then I, shall we say, bow-wowed out.

My town did a similar thing 15 years ago. A number of “Nipper” statues were made in honor of the guy who created the original Nipper who lived in our town. Most were sold off, but a few remain around town.
Just sent the video to Larry for his comment. He no doubt is going to say the cat came out too far from the cage.

He's pretty darn good around the iron too. Little goal tending going on but the focus and willingness to sacrifice the body is something else. Coolest cat I've ever seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drEzSO91JKk

Definitely some three second violations on that other cat who one assumes is the opponent.
Checked the rulebook, but couldn’t figure out what the rule is when a defensive player’s body goes entirely through the hoop after blocking a shot.
Bet you've never seen a dog do this before. It's crazy how nuts Labs are for tennis balls, it's not unusual for them to entertain themselves with one. Human involved is preferred but not necessay. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vufpRGknspE
