Or when you don’t have anyone who can beat their guy

Could’ve just looked at the last few years of Nick Myers offense to figure that out too.

Michigan - Rutgers was broadcast on the Big 10 network last night. You folks are not giving Stoller his due. He really stood on his head last night in the cage for Rutgers.

Where would Penn State be without Haverford and Malvern? Every goal scored Saturday came out of a stick that went to these two rival high schools outside Philly. One can make an argument that in the last ten years the most of the best players are from there, but I am not looking for an argument and know they have had many great players from other schools. However, it is pretty impressive how many are from HS and MP.

Ament, Sabia, Chakey, T. Traynor, Malone, J. Traynor, M. Costin, Peden, W. Costin, M. Traynor to list the top ones, many others played as well

Multiple All Americans

Unfortunately, they lost out on the top guy for 2025 to Duke,

Duke cleaned up on Malvern Prep for 2025.

How does that explain OSUs offense? Or scores the last few weeks that looks like:

9-7
9-8 OT
12-11
14-8 (OSUs second highest output this year on the road)
12-9
12-11
9-6
10-9
10-9

Not all big ten games but more than half over that stretch

+1 he was phenomenal. Pretty amazing that michigan won the face off battle, had a goalie over 50% saves himself, only committed 8 turnovers.....and trailed the whole game.

Kyle Lehman is back starting at attack, which looks like it paid off this game - unsure what they do with Will Peden, Sean Donnelly has seen some PT, not seeing Posey today on defense.
A 6 goal lead heading into the 4th quarter - PSU should be able to hold, but we'll see.

Penn State locks up an NCAA bid.
Its less, for that team, that there are some far out expectations that PSU validate their Final Four appearance,
and more about making a second straight NCAA - which they've never done - and also, just their 7th NCAA.

That bodes well for PSU. Malvern has one of the best defense in the country this year. PSU has several recruits from there

Another B1G game with no offense. If anyone needs a side hustle, betting unders has been VERY profitable.

There would be a lot more scoring if all the teams in the league didn't have great goalies. There are a lot of questionable goals being scored in Acc games due to poor goalie play.

Except Michigan. They have struggled in goal for awhile. If they get solid goaltending play, which happened last year, they are very dangerous.

I couldn’t agree more. Goalie play has been top notch.

According to LaxRef, Maryland's goalie play ranks 5th in the conference. And 15th overall in the nation.

Michigan ranks last in the B1G and 31st in the nation.

Notre Dame is 4th in the ACC but is tied with Maryland for 15th in the nation.

UNC brings up the rear in the ACC and is 27th in the nation.

ND and Syracuse have good goalies. The rest of that conference leaves a lot to be desired from what I have seen. I am fairly certain I could have put one home on Uva's goalie yesterday.

Sounds like we need a goalie parade past B1G headquarters in Chicago. We don't have 1 team that would finish top 3 in the ACC this year (maybe even top 4), but our goalies crush yours!

Duke is #4 in adjusted save percentage, UVA is #9. Both rank above Rutgers and Maryland.

Entenmann and Mark will both be AA teamers.

What a terrible goalie conference.
