the bee is fantastic for a chuckle, but this is far from their best work. considering the material they had, i'm not even sure they beat the reality.
this stems from the infamous tweet over the weekend from the guv's office, where new guidance/request is if they're out w household, to mask up at restaurants... in between bites.

One follow up to that is where I live in SW Florida, we have had no restrictions to speak of since a two week break in March or April, I can't even recall. Private companies do issue some rules such as masks at supermarkets, but I have been to a restaurant pretty much every day and I have never worn a mask. Most of the eating is outside, so perhaps it's not a great apples to apples comp, but I look at states like California and think you've lost your cotton picking minds.

Live in Lee County, not Collier. But if you actually knew this area (you don't), you would note you posted from the 'Naples Daily News'...Naples the city has had no mandate even though it is within Collier County.
Collier's mandate is mostly for those who live in a town called Immokalee, which is an immigrant farming town.
Charlotte County has a mask 'suggestion' mandate.
Also note that no one gets fined for anything even in Collier. We are free American patriots down this way...you'd hate it.

Let's put it at this: there are no restrictions that I've seen enforced anywhere in SWFL. If Collier County had a mandate, that would be for the same reason that DeSantis had to say Florida had a mandate: to restrict one area, Miami Dade. Collier's would have been strictly for Immokalee.

Not aware of pink eye being a symptom. To me he did look lethargic. How anyone can let a fly crawl around on their head like that and not react to it, is way beyond my comprehension. It was suggested to me, he is either a zombie or a robot.

Anyone find it odd that the lexan barriers were fashioned in a position to direct all the breath from the candidates right towards the moderator and from the moderator directly towards each candidate? Proving they really do not take this serious, they just want symbolism.
