@NextLevelLax standout is a terrific dodger that ran first-line midfield for @LaxSjc. He can also stretch out a defense with his shot.

Kinda interesting to see Tills getting 2 Gonzaga kids last cycle and now 2 SJC kids this over the past 2 cycles. Those are rival schools, who've been playing football against each other since 1893. Every sport they play against each other is intense. From the early 90s onward, Gonzaga replaced DeMatha as the WCAC lacrosse power. More recently and after Kevin Plank infused the athletic department with a lot of money, SJC has become a lacrosse factory and taken over the top spot in that conference. Both programs are deep and well funded. Most of the players coming out of those schools are high level athletes, who've had near D1 college-level strength and conditioning to go along with high level coaching. The IAC used to be the premier DC-area lacrosse conference, but the WCAC's top lacrosse programs (SJC, Gonzaga, and Paul VI) have passed the IAC schools. It's not that Georgetown Prep or Landon don't occasionally beat one of those three WCAC powers, but most years at this point, the WCAC is a better conference now. It used to be that MIAA schools in Baltimore and Annapolis would smash WCAC schools. That's not the case anymore. The top WCAC schools regularly knock of MIAA schools.

Tills has occasionally gotten some SJC and Gonzaga players (Colin Hinton from SJC, who transferred to Jacksonville; and Timmy Monahan and Henry Chastain from Gonzaga...Monahan transferred to Towson), but now he's gotten 4 combined in the 2024 and 2025 cycles so far. Marco Signorello is a PVI kid, the same school where Roman Puglise went. It'd be great to see Tills get 2 or 3 players a year from the top WCAC schools.

Coach Speaks has done a fabulous job. Also at about the same time when coach O’Neil left Gonzaga.

Looks like the Terps added another commit this afternoon in Pat Flaherty, per IG. Went to the same HS as Kyle Long.

TerpsMLax lands a 5⭐️ attackman from Cali in @ILPreps’ No. 16 Matt Higgins of @BoysLatinLax (Md.) / @team91lacrosse, @WestCoastStarz. A highly skilled and intelligent initiator, Higgins has been consistently productive at every stop & plays bigger than he is

He is a solid player, great athlete. Salesianum has been producing some great lacrosse players in the last few years.

A walk on makes the roster per Dan Arestia tweet
https://x.com/danarestia/status/1709944 ... EO2hFStaxg

“ Michael Nealon, an All American defender who graduated from Staples last year, earned a roster spot at Maryland as a walk on.

Nealon had a number of offers, including DI football, and now ultimately lands with the Terps.”
