What do you think they’d do if they decide to cancel it? Give every affected player some points? Play it tomorrow?

Got no idea, really throws a lot of garbage in the game. Mighty tough to reschedule in that these gals have "real jobs" but you can't not play the game. Don't see how you can just give teams/player points either, how do you do that fairly?
Sure don't see how the field is going to be a whole lot different a couple of hours from now, I think they should have just played the game. Feels as if they're being a little overly protective of their field. Grounds crew should be able to fix it after the games were played, that's what they do.
They've definitely got some things to figure out here.

There are 24 fields at the Soccerplex - 21 grass and 3 turf. I’d imagine at worst case they play on one of the other fields and game not televised?

Was thinking along the same lines, it's not as if that complex doesn't have enough fields to play on but I think with the delay there's a slim chance we get to see this one.

Yep, that’s what I was thinking. But the field they are playing on is smaller and doesn’t have a 12 meter. However playing on one of the other fields is probably their best bet right now just so they can play and not lose points because of factors that they can’t control

What we suspected: the game is moved to a different field & not being streamed

So those GRASS fields have had 11 games played on them for 2 weekends straight...Why? Seems to me that the field looked chewed up. Why not have a Turf Field ready to go? Makes sense, right?

There actually are turf fields on site but honestly, they’re awful. It’s astro turf, I saw games recently there and was worried about someone getting seriously injured- players were falling left and right without being touched

So better they get injured on a chewed up Grass Fields? I thought women were smarter than that? ALWAYS have a Plan B.

It's not easy to find out what's going on here but it looks as if this is the outcome of the Treanor-Warden game.
Each team wins two quarters, Treanor wins the game 10-9.

9-7 Arsenault, final. Kenzie with a big day 4g, 4a...just a very good player.
Unless you just don't want to see any kind of different version of wlax other than
the college game, I don't know how you don't enjoy watching these gals play, they're
just fantastic and can really showcase their talents in this game.

I think it’s great that these players get to enjoy playing and competing again and that folks are enjoying watching their remarkable skills on display. I watched some of the first game and enjoyed seeing the Majorana howitzer again. But because it doesn’t fit into a structured league, I lost interest quickly. Speaking only for myself, I find watching these games little more than exhibition scrimmages because they are not counting toward wins and losses in the standings on the way to the playoffs on the way to crowning a champion. That’s just me. I don’t condemn the league and I don’t look down my nose at anyone who enjoys the league—it’s just not my cup of tea.

These girls are playing pretty much only for the love of the game (my guess anyway), who wins and who loses or what the standings are doesn't mean a whole lot to me. The athleticism and skill level of these players is what I enjoy about this league, they really are the best in the world and watching this level of play is thoroughly enjoyable for me. The rules allow them to do much more than they could in the college game, it's quick, fast, up and down the field, the D is very tough, the O is terrific and a fine display passing, catching, and shooting. I'll watch every one of these games and am thrilled to be able to see some of my favorites play again. Good stuff in my book.
