Looked into this county's not for profit, and the donations.

looks like the government, specifically, the STATE of Florida.......contributed about 80% of Hernando County "donations".

This non profit, pays it's board members......are the "board" members double dipping, getting paid as school officials, to go along with this foundation ?

strange, that most 990 forms, required by law, are not be found online ,anymore.

The point of the article is that in a county in which the Governor of Florida recently won overwhelmingly and which has been in the news because of the school's announcing of an investigation into a teacher...initiated by a school board member who objected to a Disney film shown the children as a violation of recent laws sponsored by and signed by said Governor...who is now one of three major candidates for the Presidency of the USA...there is a backlash from students, teachers and other parents to this right wing hysteria over "woke"...the article suggests that such backlash is happening elsewhere as well, but particularly notable in such a 'red' county in the state "where woke goes to die"...my embellishment there...

Now, if that has something to do with whatever you are referring to above, please make the connection for us and as I'm not able to decipher your intended message and I suspect others aren't able to do so as well.
