Looking forward to 2024 - Michigan's Schedule Release

The OOC. Denver. The rest? Colorado maybe? Penn? On the whole, though--meh.

I was expecting more from the team that scrapped NU to a one goal game in the 2nd round of the NCAA's and was the only team all season that held the high scoring (17 goals per game avg.) Wildcats to under 10.

Tried posting this earlier. Not sure how the heck you post memes and pics on this forum. 😁. Probably better I do t know.

Not too difficult OOC schedule but not totally soft. Jacksonville and Marquette are ok I guess. The two Michigan games I guess is because of location. They did make 16 games. I agree. Not too hard.

Interesting how dismissive everyone seems to be of USC in both the Hopkins and Michigan schedule. They were 16-4 last year, won the Pac-12 and gave Denver a pretty tough game in first round of NCAAs.

I find myself automatically dismissing all the teams from the Pac 12 because of their meager showings in the NCAA's. The last time a rep from the Pac 12 made the 2nd round was 2019. You have to go back to 2017 the last time a team (USC) made the quarters.

Then I also find myself thinking maybe the team might be a little deflated/off kilter since they found out they were moving to the Big 10. (I'm not saying there's any basis for me to think this, mind--that's just what's in my head.) I'd like to see them do well, or anyone from the Pac 12 for that matter--but they always seem to go away so quickly in the Tourney.

All to say--that's why I dismiss USC.

It's a little bit of a process but not too complicated. Send me a private message if you want to know how to do either or each. I'll show you the steps. One little hint is to look at the (I guess you call them) html codes when you click the quotation marks icon to respond to a post with a gif or a picture. You'll note the image icon is used for both images and gif's/memes.

I really appreciate all these schedule drops. I'm definitely itching for the season to start.

how would you improve Rutgers OOC schedule? many posters are complaining about some of these schools OOC schedules but offer no suggestions to improve them.

They're only playing 1 team, Army, that made the NCAA tournament last year. Last year Rutgers played Stony Brook, JMU and Jacksonville in their OOC schedule. Compare their schedule with Cuse, Northwestern, MD, Hopkins, BC, etc.

I will say Rutgers probably makes the NCAA tournament last year if they finish .500. They had wins over Stony Brook, Hopkins and Jacksonville. So not surprised they dropped some tougher games to make sure they are eligible.

You are correct. Missed it. They did drop JMU and Jacksonville though compared to last year.

JMU and Jax play in conferences that force them to play strong OOC schedules. I'd be very surprised if they dropped Rutgers. As I said, I understand Rutgers changing up their schedule to ensure they finish .500 this year after coming up short last year.

Adding improvement suggestions is a whole different exercise. I'd rather just assess a schedule at face value, then compare it to others. More fun that way.
