4 star senior Brooks English '22, M, Lawrenceville (N.J.) has flipped from
@BrownLacrosse
to
@JHUmenslacrosse
. A tough, crafty & athletic Burlington (Ont.) product with great bloodlines, English fought through injuries last season to finish on a high note: https://insidelacrosse.com/recruiting/p ... commitment
Who is the coach of Lawrenceville?

Who is the coach of Lawrenceville?
Jon Posner. English and a bunch of others transferred there from Culver after Posner made the move.

It’s nice to be the flipper rather than the flipee.

Opening a pipeline at Lawrenceville would be huge. Expect Lawrenceville to be a truly premier program going forward. If Posner can make a military school in Indiana a powerhouse, I can only imagine what he’ll do at Lawrenceville.

Brooks English plays with fellow Culver/Lawrenceville middie and ‘23 recruit Chuck Rawson (and their brothers) on the Burlington Chiefs in the Ontario junior league. No info as to whether that influenced his flip, but can’t hurt. Might not be a pipeline from L’ville, but it’s a start.
Also, Brooks’ brothers are middies at UNC and Princeton. Dad played in the CFL, so good pedigree.

Busy weekend at Homewood. New and improved rec center opened yesterday. STX filming at practice. The program also hosted the Iroquois Nationals. Special appearance by everyone's favorite university president with Baker and several players looking on: https://twitter.com/IRQ_Nationals/statu ... 3629537294

There's a video on the Iroquois Nationals Instagram of their Sixes practice at Homewood with what looks like our entire team watching from the stands. Homewood also served as the base of operations for the US Women's team last weekend...quite a lot going on lately.

Daniels being on Homewood “after hours” accepting a wood stick may be the greatest example of regime change yet.

I wonder how he found the field.

I don't know the man - would pass him by on the street and not realize it was him - so he may be Satan's spawn as some allege - but it does strike me he no longer can do any little thing (or not do it) without criticim with respect to lacrosse. If the instatgram picture had been of Baker taking the lacrosse stick - there would have been howls that he didn't care about how symbolism is important and jokes that he couldn't find the field instead of ones about how did he find it.

Cornell Willis is streaming the Hobart scrimmage on Instagram. EDIT: Unfortunately he just stopped but will let you know if he starts again.

Jays scored on three of their first four possessions. Hobart got one on the EMO.

Degnon, Keogh, Angelus middie line 1
Grimes, McDerrmot, Peshko line 2
Epstein, DeSo, Krampf(?) start on attack
Szuluk, McManus, Jennings, Smith getting lots of run on defense, can't tell but Lyne may not be playing.
Martin, Jaronski, Shure, Mabbett the main SSDMs it looks like so far

Hop 9 Hobart 8 half
Degnon 2, Peshko 1, Deso 1.

Dunn took FOs in 1st, Callahan in 2nd.

Defense looks disorganized. Marcille not standing on his head.

Epstein with the other 5?

Disorganized D not too surprising given it sounds like they are mixing in a bunch of new poles

How bad is our shooting? Last year we made some goalies look real good lacking angles and shooting into sticks. With all due respect to the hop
Goalie.
