Why The Numbers Behind Mitch McConnell’s Re-Election Don’t Add Up

Seeing as how most of the fraud we've found this year and the past couple of elections has been Republican, if we're gonna look into the votes, we gotta look into why R's did so much better than the general public indicated. We know the R's love to project, so why not take a look at their biggest projection? Due process and all that.

Just a disgrace:

https://twitter.com/HawleyMO/status/1344307458085412867

Seems to me that this will cinch it: all GOP pretenders to the throne will be asked "Did Democrats steal the election in 2020?" And they will have to answer "Yes," in order to keep from alienating the crazy MOFOS that appear to make up that party's base. All pushing the notion that the election of the President in 2020 was not legitimate (while all of the down-ballot races were somehow unaffected by the evidence-free fraud).

The GOP is an anti-democratic, anti-constitutional disgrace. And Hawley is the exact toadying smurf to carry its banner.

Every single R in Congress (and also every D) is now going to have to vote on whether or not to certify the POTUS election results from every state that Hawley decides to protest.

Going to be interesting to see how they vote.

Both Gore and Hillary conceded, and congratulated the winner. Imagine that. So rest didn't matter.

They AREN'T all the same, apparently. And taking the low road is being rewarded by the Republican voters.

Shame on them.

That's a hypocritical dodge. It was being done then, as it is now, to register a protest on the record, not to change the outcome.

This is not to "register a protest." It is to inebriate an electorate with a completely fraudulent, evidence-free fantasy serving the interests of a few venal, anti-democratic motherf*ckers. You really are the worst sort of shill, because you know better. Register a protest; Jesus H.

Right. Keep telling yourself that. Trump's behavior is fine. Claiming fraud where there is none is fine.

Shouldn't we ignore this, and worry about REALLY important stuff like Hunter Biden? Hunter's little D by his name is bad.

In 2004 and 2016 the votes were not considered a litmus test of loyalty to a defeated authoritarian.

This year, the R votes are going to be very carefully noted: by the authoritarian (and his "base") in particular.

Hawley's telling us why he's doing it.
https://video.foxnews.com/v/video-embed ... itbart.com
To focus attention & force Congressional debates on how the election was conducted in various states.
It's to create a record & put down a marker for the 2022 election.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... story.html
In a statement, he said he did so as a way to highlight purported election irregularities.
“At the very least, Congress should investigate allegations of voter fraud and adopt measures to secure the integrity of our elections. But Congress has so far failed to act,” Hawley said.

Hawley told reporters Wednesday that he had not yet decided whether to challenge the electoral college votes in a series of swing states or only in Pennsylvania, whose election administration he criticized in a statement. The decision could determine how much of a delay the objection injects into the process.

Of course it would be illegal to challenge the electoral votes in Pennsylvania due to the Safeharbor statute, but that’s not going to stop a grandstander like Hawley.

In other words, in 2004 and 2016, no one cared, because for the third freaking time now, Hillary and Gore had already conceded the election.

But as usual, you choose to ignore this point because you're a Republican, and DESPERATELY want to ignore that a sitting President is claiming mass fraud during the election. What Trump is doing doesn't bother you, because he has a little R by his name, so he could insult your lead dog, and you'd ignore the insult and vote for him again.

AT SOME POINT, you have to say enough is enough, right?

Nope. You STILL haven't reached that point with your Republican President. You clearly never will.

    Didn't you just finish telling us that a few Dems "put down a marker" in both 2004, AND 2016? How'd that work out in the following elections OS?

And besides, let me take a wild freaking guess here: do you want Federal Congressional Dems to tell Texans how to run their elections? Or hey, how about Georgia and Florida, while we're at it. Let "the Squad" run elections there, right? Oh, totally. You'd LOVE that, OS.

But sure: go right ahead and tell us that this is all sooper-cool ,and an honest desire for fair elections.

It doesn't bother me for the same reason I've been saying for months.
There needs to be a close examination & debate about how this election was conducted before the rules for the next one are established.
....& I know things are perfect & above scrutiny in CO. I told you this examination & debate would be taking place.

There's no possibility the election will be overturned. This is just political theater, as it was in 2004 & 2016. ...but that was ok, because Russia interfered in 2016 & for "irregularities" in 2004. How'd that turn out for the (D)'s ? ...nobody noticed.

https://www.cnn.com/2005/ALLPOLITICS/01 ... vote.1718/
Alleging widespread "irregularities" on Election Day, a group of Democrats in Congress objected Thursday to the counting of Ohio's 20 electoral votes, delaying the official certification of the 2004 presidential election results.

The move was not designed to overturn the re-election of President Bush, said Ohio Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones and California Sen. Barbara Boxer, who filed the objection.

The objecting Democrats, most of whom are House members, said they wanted to draw attention to the need for aggressive election reform in the wake of what they said were widespread voter problems.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa- ... SKBN14Q25R

Members of the House of Representatives objected to the electoral tally in states including Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Texas, Mississippi and the Carolinas in a symbolic move that exposed lingering dismay over a contentious election campaign.

Some members complained about long lines at polling stations while others cited concerns over Russian attempts to influence the result in Trump’s favor.

“I object because people are horrified by the overwhelming evidence of Russian interference in our election,” said Representative Barbara Lee of California before being overruled.
