Has the Canadian Sixes team released a roster yet? Junior is coaching them alongside Brodie Merrill.

Should be a good experience for the young Marquis playing with the Thompsons, and against those US players

Terrific news.

Here is IL’s take:

Can score in a variety of ways. A quick dodger who can finish but is equally as good off the ball, using quick bursts to get open on his cuts.

Has a high lacrosse IQ and excellent skills.

Sounds like a good fit for Grant Jr.’s motion offense.

Led the Mass state champs in points as a sophomore—not bad. Looks quick and explosive on film with some off-ball chops as well.

In other news—one of the photos the team posted the other day on social media showed Glassmeyer in a boot. Feel for the kid and hope it's not another longterm thing.

Good catch. I believe I saw in one of the pics that Blake a Rodgers wasn’t dressed. I was hoping the same for him as I know he’s had a few injuries along the way.

Todaro is injured as well. Should be back for spring

Just noticed that in the same set of photos—looks like he's been using one of those scooters so likely a foot thing as well. Not great. Injuries are part of the game but we need to avoid the season enders that have seemed to plague the lineup in recent years. PM appeared to acknowledge that in IL's fall ball writeup. There's a fine line between wanting physical fall practices and putting guys at unnecessary risk of injury—and that line is not always easy to identify.

flalax, you saw correct, Rodgers was not dressed. Who knows, maybe he pulls a Lyne and is able to contribute as a senior after a career marred by injuries.

Jaronski was holding a short stick in those photos for whatever that is worth.

Also—they postponed the entirety of alumni weekend until the spring. Didn't want to do it half-assed. So hopefully a full one with all the usual events in a few months. Still an intrasquad scrimmage on the 16th—believe it will be open to watch for alumni and friends.

syracuse had theirs last month with guys mask less who could have great grand children on the team. Ravens had a full stadium with no issues on national television last night. time for daniels to follow the science.

we haven't had a lot of mass kids in my time following the team. Stephen Boyle, an attackman from the Rabil era I think was very successful and from mass.

Boyle was from New Hampshire. You almost managed to get through a post without being wrong about something.

Lyne and Narewski are from Mass. As was Foley. And Fraser. There have been lots and lots of others.

This. Could probably cover the cost with a few ads for stx or the credit union or a link to donate to the athletic department.

you can bet this'll never happen if players trot out in different numbered pinnies.

Asking for a donation to HeadStrong to watch the feed makes sense to me. Yes it's fall ball. It's real function is a fund raising I thought....

Hopkins streams for other sports so they're set up at homewood. seems like a no brainer for the the foundation, the other schools participating, recruiting and building interest in the club. I don't get the numbers thing or the secrecy.

No Hopkins alumni representing USA this weekend at the fall classic. Can’t remember the last time that ever happened at an international event.

Yes Joel Tinney for Canada in the Fall Classic and the following weekend in the Sixes tournament Fox with Iroquois and Crawley with USA. It is unusual to have no Hopkins men involved for USA in a 10 on 10 international event
