In an unusual indication of Dartmouth optimism, or lack of Crimson support, the IL fan picks favor Dartmouth.

I think Penn>Cornell; just believe this year the play lives up to the chatter (are you listening Harvard?). If Brown beats UMass I will... I don't know... say something nice about Harvard!

#1 Yale (4-1) @ #17 Princeton (2-4) -- The embarrassment of keeping 2-4 teams in the top 20 of any sport is exposed. Elis win 18-9 with Ierlan winning 90%+.
Penn (3-3) at #5 Cornell (5-2) -- Big Red prevails 16-11; Teat racks up 7 assists
Harvard (3-4) @ Dartmouth (2-4) -- So tempting to predict the Big Green's first Ivy win in forever, but the Book Worms prevail, 9-6.
Brown (3-3) @ UMass (5-3) -- Brown State owns a 28-22 all time record against Garber's Gorillas. The record improves to 29-22 with a 12-11 win.
Unless your landlord will you skip a month, I wouldn't be putting that rent money on Brown.

I don't know but it seems to me as if that post would be more appropriate on the Duke or Cuse thread.
Then again, you just wanted to come out play your childish little games again and put your obsession with me and stalking ways on display, we all get it. Be careful with all of that.

Well, when you leave the safe confines of the Syracuse thread and enter the Ivy League thread, you never know who you might encounter. Why is it inappropriate to respond on the Ivy League thread to a Syracuse homer who visits the Ivy League thread to make a game prediction on an Ivy League game, by making a game prediction re a Syracuse game? Explain that to me Orange guy. What do you mean "we" Orange fan?

It's all pretty easy to figure out, but when dealing with an obsessed stalker there is no reasoning, they're driven by their mental illness, they just can't help themselves.
I'm going to take the advice I've been given by several of the Ivy posters via PMs suggesting I not feed the imbalanced troll, maybe that'll spare all of us from your childishness.
See ya.

Anybody can post Ivy League stuff here on the Ivy League thread. That's the idea. Syracuse vs Duke game predictions don't belong here, they belong on SU or Duke threads. Thank you.

Thanks for your advice, Trumansburger. I didn't realize there was a restriction such that when a Syracuse fan posts an Ivy League game prediction on the Ivy League thread, an Ivy League fan can't respond with a Syracuse game prediction. That makes no sense. Dmac thinks I'm obsessed with him. Were that the case, the ratio of our posts would by closer than the 12:802 ratio now existing. Hopefully he won't freeze his you know what off tomorrow as their game is outdoors! I think "we" all know who the troll is.

Yale @ Princeton could be close for a while, but I think Yale pulls away late to win by 4 or more.
Penn @ Cornell is tougher to predict; Penn has played some top teams very close but lost, and when Quaker GK Junkin is hot he is excellent. Still, playing in Ithaca, I like the Big Red, so Cornell by by 2 or 3.
Okay, I'll go with what I'd like to see and say Dartmouth by 1 over Harvard.
In what can be a learning game for Brown, I'll take UMass at home by 2.

Yes, we do know who the imbalanced stalking troll is.

13:803. Dress warmly tomorrow Dmac. If I were the "imbalanced stalking troll" Dmac claims I am, I would have 800+ posts like him, not a dozen, because I would be following him around from post to post responding to each one. I couldn't possibly do that because I have a life. All it took was to say don't bet on the Orange and that set him off. Who's the imbalanced one? Anyway, best of luck to all the Ivy teams today, except Penn!

There were complaints that the screening exam to post on the IL thread had become too antiquarian; who can answer questions on the Iliad in archaic Greek anymore?

Intelligent and informed Cornell fans understand that it is to Cornell's advantage for Syracuse to win every game it plays other than the Cornell game.

Well, last year Cornell lost two Ivy regular-season games en route to the AQ; but psychologically, losing the first two conference games is tougher. I still think the Big red has the talent; but getting all the pieces working as one team can be a challenge. Cornell hosts 0-1 Dartmouth next Saturday (surely the Red will get back on track, right?). Yale @ Penn next Saturday is shaping up to be as tantalizing a game as Cornell @ Yale last week was billed to be; first, Yale will host Air Force mid-week. Princeton, now 0-2 in conference play, hosts 1-0 Brown next Saturday; hard to see this as anything but must-win for the Tigers. Harvard, 1-1 in the Ivy, has the bye week, hosting Albany mid-week.

This ain’t no game! Stuff is real on these mean streets of Ivy League lacrosse blog posting forums!
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah
