I think it’s pretty indicative of the school culture. I mean their basketball team wins the national championship on a buzzer beater and they have 3-4 guys running across court to wave goodbye and shoosh opposing fans rather than celebrate with their teammates.

last weeks topic, but was talked about in the CNU thread.. but majority of college teams have done this, lacrosse, basketball, football etc, and even in the professionals. Not sure when so many people became soft all of a sudden. Kind of concerning. This post was in the CNU thread of LYN doing the same thing to WL bench in OT. Also, LYN side line celebrations are out of control.

I could pull up some videos of other top teams showing poor sportsmanship as well if you’d like?

The point is, #43 on Lyn doing that doesn’t bother me because it’s college sports and players play with a competitive spirit(something you clearly don’t understand).

If you want to watch kids shake hands and congratulate the other team for scoring a goal then go watch your local U8 lacrosse team.”

Between the first and last whistle, fine. After the last whistle or during the final moments of a clear win, not a good look. Sportsmanship 101, this ain't the NBA.

Hey Dehunt .... sounds like hyperbole to me.

Rivalry sure... we all love a quality rivalry game but Big NCAA tournament implications?

I'm sure I'm missing something here but I don't see Roanoke being anything more than a team that has beat everyone they were supposed to and one that has lost to everyone they were supposed to. Meaning I don't see a "quality" win on their resume. W&L should win this one and when they do, it won't move the Generals needle one
bit IMO. Losing it certainly will though, I'll grant you that.
