Similar demos have been done before. No Nobel Prize in medicine for Musk. Why do you never give props to the scientists, Drs, PhDs, responsible for these advancements? The people that really make these advancements. Musk is a promoter, that is all. He is only concerned with money and fame.
Wow. Ok...that's really cool. Dyouthathletics wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 6:04 pm Musk is doing great things for society: https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1770565942168420750?s=20
Is this a somewhat self serving post from a PhD scientist who feels somewhat neglected from all of his lifetime achievements lack of recognition? No Nobel Prize for you doc. I'm certain your criticism of Musk hurts him deeply. It may bother him even more if he knew who freak you were.jhu72 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 6:25 pm ... self-aggrandizing propaganda. I got out in January. Just couldn’t invest my money in a company run by Musk. I was involved with a pharmaceutical company that ultimately turned over the executive management team including the founder. He had started the business and run it up to a mid cap public but it became apparent that they were researchers. The board felt they needed an operator to commercialize their drug products. It was no longer a “startup”. The new team had European drug company experience….Worked out for everyone. A large cap bought them out eventually after the new team restored and then increased the valuation.jhu72 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 5:48 am Tesla seems to have a Musk problem.
Said this two years ago. Musk is not suited to the car business. He is not an operations person. He is a big picture promoter, and that job has been done. Not needed now. He should leave before he drives it into the ground.

That explains a lot Doc. Your such an arrogant, condescending self righteous prick that you think you can save the planet. The planet is clearly f***ed if its future existence is in the hands of people like yourself. Fortunately for you us "insignificant twerps " still pay our taxes. I hope you don't break your arm patting yourself on your back for all of your worldly achievements. Do you need to build an addition to house all of your trophies, awards and medals? My brother in law has a wall full of US patents he earned while working as an engineer for Xerox in the downstairs powder room. When I asked why he put them there his answer was simple and strait forward. That's where they belong. My 2 greatest achievements are my kids. You can't achieve better than that.jhu72 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 9:30 am... you insignificant insecure twerp, barely keeping your head above water in the shallow end of the gene pool...cradleandshoot wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 8:25 amIs this a somewhat self serving post from a PhD scientist who feels somewhat neglected from all of his lifetime achievements lack of recognition? You have no idea what I have accomplished. Not that you could begin to understand ... I am well known and thought of in the fields of Medical Imaging and High Energy Physics. I am one of the PhDs that has received accolades, being responsible for scientific advancements. I feel quite satisfied with my accomplishments. I have no jealousy of Musk. I never started out or desired to be rich or famous - just wanted to have fun. I have achieved a lot more than needed of one and what I could of the other while succeeding beyond my wildest dreams in achieving my goal -- lots of fun. My happiness with my life is dependent on no one or their approval, Mr. Musk can't say that, he requires continuous approval of others, many others.
