This is not the National Hall of Fame - Uncle Fred has been a member of the National HOF for many a year. Since we are already up to Harry - the only lead pipe lock is Rabil. Quint should be - Durkin probably.

I think we discussed that a few years ago.

It will probably anger a lot of people but quint and carc probably will end up getting some sort of contributor award for all their broadcasts, some IL honchos as well for the outlets place in the sport of late.

Quint was a 4 time All American 2 time winner of the Kelly award as the best goalie and a National Champion. Regardless of his broadcasting credentials- which are considerable even if you are not a fan - he deserves admission as a "truly great player"

Jays flipped 2024 Luke Stickler, a 6'2'', 3-star D/LSM from Los Angeles, from Denver
One of these days I'll make the trip to Homewood from NE Indiana/NW Ohio area.

He posted it on almost every thread he could find - probably would have been better served to create it's own thread and provide an explanation of why it's worth watching then hijacking a bunch of team threads

Anyway - much more relevant - if not mistaken Wednesday is a National Signing Day? I would guess the question relative to Hopkins is around 'ol Ace - as in Ace Lumpris. He posts on X his visits and football offers. I would assume if Riley or Franklin or someone from that type of program found a Scholarship in the seat cushions he would be gone - but so far.....

It’s a travesty that Quint K isn’t already in the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

I can only surmise that he ticked off some Grand Poobahs of Lacrosse somewhere along the way.

with milliaman going into year 4... is he on the hot seat if he does not at least make the final 4. The standard here is not making the quarterfinals. Petro made the final in his second year in 2003 then won it all and went undefeated in 2005

no, he is not.

and there's a joke in there with the phrasing of "the standard here is...", but i'll pass on it as the flock has been neither eating their own or grandiose of late.

they gave him an extension as a major show of confidence in everything he's done and represented on and off the field and as 51 pointed out have 22 grad students and seniors and 21 juniors and sophomores on the roster. Win or lose this year they're in it for the long haul with him and know there's a 2006/2009-2010/2014/2022 type rebuild coming going into 2025. If this year goes well it will go a long way to the next extension. A bust of a season and we're back to the anxiety this message board, the programs haters, media, and fan base thrives on. If anything Gait and Breschi/Petro are closer to "hot seats" if they have rough years.

Co you ever know what you are talking about??? Ever???

Breschi just got a three year contract extension. If he was on the hot seat last year it might explain his restructuring moves

he's not far off. unc gives its coaches 5 year deals in non-revenue. universally. breschi escaped the chopping block, but a 3 year for all the world says he's on the clock and the seat is warm. and the staff reshuffle could go either way, but one of those ways is maybe he was given the mandate it was them or him. or... given the stakes, he felt the need to freshen things up.

Lumpris signed. As did the rest of the class.

The social media game has really been elevated since PM was hired and then he brought in Grayson Johns to do socials/video. For signing day they posted a video of each recruit in Jays gear signing the camera: https://www.instagram.com/p/CzYvXhBg8WO ... mg_index=2

Based on what Ace posted publicly, he got some solid fball offers, but nothing at the level of a USC or PSU. His younger brother, Colt, might be a different story though. He's a 6'5'' WR and already had an offer from Pitt before he finished 8th grade.

Good news to hear everyone is in the nest. The program does appear to be very focused on the defensive mid-field position and has assembled some big fast athletes
