This is what red/blue states really look like. Land doesn't vote. People do.
... a good way to present the fact of the matter.

Or, perhaps, we can be mature and view people as people, not as red or blue. Most of the citizens of the USA, of voting age, are NOT red or blue.

Map is pointless, proving what, exactly?

Dave Wasserman of The Cook Report is saying that Biden will win Pennsylvania by a greater margin than he won MI and WI.

So, big tip of the cap to NJBill, Larry and Dis for all those votes. Please put in a reimbursement form for mileage.

I think Charlie Cook and his people really have done a bang up job. They had this right from the beginning, it appears.

With the scar of 2016 still tender, there is no dancing in the streets here just yet.

(Although, getting ready to lace up the tap dancin' shoes soon, hopefully...)

Don't think 2016, this election more closely resembles 2018. Patience is a virtue. Even a couple of house seats that looked lost earlier, have turned around.

Don't disagree with that jhu, but what about the "latino" vote in Miami/Dade? How do you look at that odd situation? That, somehow, seems to fly in the face of the demographic argument being made in some quarters, that time and demographics are on the liberal side. There is something at work underneath in those numbers...what is it?

Democrats have to engage them for a longer period of time than the near run-up to the election. They have to recognize that many of the values of latinos are more conservative than the progressive NE/coastal areas. And they need to counter the notion that somehow Trump is a master at making the economy work (he is not, but picked the right person for the Fed that kept things humming along given the momentum that Obama handed him).

Okay, DMac sez, put it to bed, Sleepy Joe's the winner, it's all over but the shouting.
Am very disappointed in many of my fellow citizens who see a man of Trump's character and behavior as the man that they want to be the face of their country. First time around I get it. Second, after watching this ego inflated narcissist carry on like a complete horzezazz, not so much. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy watching Donald squirm, pizz and moan, whine and complain, and carry on like the complete horzezazz that he is in defeat. Oh, and a good god damnn good bye to Jared, Don The Puke Jr, and Fake Titts Ivanka too.

you are portraying this as if they are two, completely separate groups. That they couldn't be BOTH (Democrat AND Latino ) Perhaps, your thinking so IS the problem?

It's as is the big bad Democrats care, and curate, all others that they pretend to care about. Discarding them like a toilette wipe, cleaning the fingers from the latino "spice" whenever the need.

or maybe we could just STOP being stoopid and generalizing about others.......just maybe.

What the heck is a "latino" anyway?

... they are not a monolithic group. Latino men and African American men are also "men". Women across the board feel very strongly about Orange Duce (hating him). Men across the board, even those who understand the POS that he is, still feel an affinity to his macho horsesh!t, especially the less educated, less successful. You think only white men feel diminished by their women?

"Stop the Count"

did tRump really just jerk this? anyone that truly supports tRump is a just strange.

Why in the world would Donald want our democracy , in action, to stop? Supporting this type of thinking is wrong. Being completely serious.

When are we going to see the Niger -American club, or the Ivory Coast-American club? Do African-Americans hold the same views towards their fellow Africaners, like Irish, Italian, Polish, German, and English ancestors do, towards each other ? Obama KNOWS he is Kenyan-American. NOT....the AA generalization. Unless you wanna be like Rev. Wright, and lump all white europeans together.

hate is hate.........but ignored when "your side" hates?

I think way too much is being made of Florida. Cubans fell for the "he's a socialist" line, as they always do. Doesn't work as well on Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, etc. You just aren't going to get all Latinos. They are all different.
