So then a conference can just have a conf tournament where every body makes it? These conferences aren't that big, it would be very easy to do.

I have always thought that Krach was much more reliable than RPI. Hard to argue with any of these rankings. At the same time, now it is hard to overlook ND's absence in the tourney. Personally, I am thrilled to not see Corrigan yelling at the refs after every single call. Perhaps the refs conspired with the NCAA panel to get rid of crybabies Bill Tierney and Corrigan for one year? It will be a helluva lot more peaceful on the sidelines this year.

Understood, than maybe a team not making the Semi finals ? I just hate the Idea of a 6th best team in a conference making it while Army stays home.

The focus that some have on "conferences" (for at-large selections) mystifies me. What matters is what teams you play in a given year, and how you do against them. Whether a team you play is or is not on some list called a "conference" is irrelevant to that.

It seemed quite odd to me that FanLax Forum has Rutgers at #9 when they were #7, #5, #6, and #8. How could their overall ranking be less than any individual one?
Then I realized that in the fifth poll, by masondixonlax, they weren't ranked. At all???
(I'm hoping that is an oversight and not intentional.)
